Great cover and great tune.
The composer of this tune is not "Bob Ziff" (sic) but Bob Zieff.
The first recorded version by Chet is with Dick Twardzik, Jimmy Bond, Peter Littman in Paris in october 1955 ("Rondette" - Barclay - or "Chet in Paris" - Polydor - or "Chet in Europe" - Pacific Jazz).
I had the chance to see this particular trio (with Michel "Mickey" Grailler and Jean-Louis Rassifosse) in concerts in Paris. It was really great musical moments.
