Ideally, I'd prefer the Condorcet method be used. For pragmatic purposes though, I support an open non-partisan primary with approval voting and a runoff between the top two candidates with the highest approval rating. With Approval voting, we don't have to change voting machines which would be an obstacle to implementing a new voting system.
@Mutex50 We need a gradualist approach to change the fundamentals of how the system works. People who support a different voting system should band together to form a PAC or even a party whose sole purpose is to get rid of plurality. We need to vote for people who support this regardless of what other positions those candidates have.
