You suck at doing darker people make up... With dark skin you REALLY need to avoid black and replace it with gold or a sexy copper brown. Add more color but not too much. I like that jacob :)

I can see she has good intentions but never fill in your eyebrows with black. Its too harsh on any skintone. Also never use so much black eyeshadow, even if the look is a dark smokey eye. Try to use more dark browns and then a tad of carbon (or any matte black e/s) blended out so it won't look so muddied. Also finishing it off with undereye concealer and powder would've been awesome. Just some tips for my darker girly's.

I love the look and was impressed when you used Brule as a highlighter. The lightest I have ever been is Patina, however I will try Brule next time. I loved the lip color but could never pull it off without a darker lip liner as my teeth are not white.

like it but as an make-up artist for 20 years i would recommend embark on darker skin not as harsh, otherwise this was a nice tutorial.

As a black girl who ALWAYS wears dark eyes and the smoky look... id say you've done the BEST job ive seen on youtube with the eyes for a dark skinned girl, period. She looks great! I think i look like CRAP in earth tones... im already an earth tone! lol. Smokey eyes are SEXY! :)

I love the look and was impressed when you used Brule as a highlighter. The lightest I have ever been is Patina, however I will try Brule next time. I loved the lip color but could never pull it off without a darker lip liner as my teeth are not white.

I'm sorry. That color doesn't look good on her lips at all. A browner tint lipgloss would've looked better or maybe a dark lipliner, the color you used and a clear coat of lipgloss.
