Dude I just watched it alone in the dark, with headphones on. First time ever seeing it, didn't even know it was a horror movie!! I also saw it on Netflix, was expecting a sci-fi LOL!!! I don't normally watch horror movies and this scared the poo out of me. I know I'm gonna have nightmares when I go to sleep tonight, I've seen The Thing many times (one of the few horror movies I've enjoyed) but this was WAY worse. I enjoyed it even though it made me defecate myself. Good stuff lol

I was so wanting them to get off the ship that I almost felt physically nauseated when Weir blew up the Lewis & Clark ship and stranded the survivors onboard Event Horizon. I was just like "Oh man... I remember on the DVD commentary, Anderson mentions that this bit always got a huge unintentional laugh from audiences. It wasn't intended that way, but the effects guys made the 'Hell' video so much more horrible than expected that "We're leaving!" ended up as a funny understatement :D
