Ha, My dad has a 1965 GTO convertible along with every other option every offered. Its has the 389 Tri-Power, the Muncie 4 spd, power driver seat, power outside mirror, power windows, power antenna control & everything else I can't think of.. It was a hit story with another of its type in the January 2008 issue of High Performance Pontiac Magazine.. It is 1 of 12 others ever produced. It was a special ordered car that was ordered for John Z. DeLorean, The chief designer of the car at that time.
You still talk to Josh anymore? (The custom Corvette from the video.)
Also, is that Suzette in the video? (Dee's wife.) -- Dave. (Long Island, NY) -PS: I have to say it. The car looked aggressive as hell in that black paint with the white rims. Its previous incarnation was better.
Hey Dave, no havent spoken to Josh since the video, didnt even remeber his name until you just asked. No thats not Dees wife either, it did look kool that way. I'm thinking of doing it over in another color if I ever have the time, lol..nice that you remeber it, Happy HotRodDays, Ed
ahh yes I had several different rimms on the car through the years, BUT only one 65 GTO has the Trans Am custom work on it like mine, look a little closer, door handles, fenders and the hood scoop is still white...the whites wheels I still have they were from a Z-28 back in the day...
not to sure what the name of the company is...all i know is he gets stuff from allover to crome stuff.. :-) maybe oneday i will have a video of his stuff... :-)
where do you get your platting done? my uncle works in a platting place in vancouver, he is working on a sweet 40ish car from new orleans there...its a nice car! just wondering who you use.. :-)
theres a few guys local here we use, big thing around here now is powder coating, candy coating and just polishing. Theres another place in NJ we have used also. Whats the company your uncle works for? got any videos posted of his work?
