  • What's the name of the last 2 tunes??? Really like them.

  • You should enable the ratings --- this video rocks.

  • I love the beginning hornpipe "Winnipeg Forger"

  • I heard that either fredricton, or calgary's pipe major and drum sergeant quit and had to downgrade. Is that Calm Before the Storm as the opener?

  • yeh it is

  • the opener is actually Winnepeg Forger... and they didn't quit or downgrade... The band decided to replace them. and they still play grade two.

  • This is terific! And thanks agin for sending that info on the Society for the book 'Saint Andrew: Scotland's Myth and Identity'.

  • What a great band and good tunes too! I'm in a grade 3 band from Newcastle in the U.K. and you Canadians know how to play Better than the U.S bands!

  • welll thats because its not really accepted in our culture, I have enough hard time trying to bring scottish culture and drumming in to my community, the U.S. is lucky if a few drummers or pipers stick with it in a community since we become outcasts

  • but thats a pretty big assumption, trust me theres going to be some great U.S. bands growing in the near future

  • but canadian bands are still better it all happened because of when the scotish setler landed in canada we promised them jobs and they stayed and the culture just grew. and now we got top band like sfu and the scottish like 78th frashers

  • That is sounding pretty cocky right there.

Canada isn't ultimatly the best, There are great bands all over

And like I said there will be some growing intrest in the art in The U.S., then there will be some really good competition between the border

  • it is

  • we did have a good play

  • is that alitrach ?

  • my grade 2 band playsed the same tunes where is this band from they are good

  • Fredericton NB Canada

  • thats right, I thought they was somewhere else, but their from new brunswick

  • you guys rock!!!!! I am so proud of my brothers!! All three of them in this awesome band, way to go guys!!!
