  • Could somebody tell me what Hagman says between 5:45 and 6:05? His accent is so hard to uderstand for us foreigners ;)

  • @arwena102 : "Some of us who should have known better were a bit hasty Sir. There were more than a few who were looking at a nasty death at end of Yeoman's sword when you and Sergeant Major Harper intervened. What went on were bad, but I was wrong to think you had ought to do with it"

  • @cjm450 Thank you very much!

  • I don't know about the rest of the people watching this but it would make my day to see that captain die.

  • sharpe has a brother! makes me think of robin hood with kevin cosnter

  • Dammit, where's a clearly conniving villain when you need one.

  • RIPE!!!

  • Sharpe forgets he fights the wars of kings. It s the 'little people' who ultimatly pay the price now. There has never been a war because people couldnt get along. there has been many wars in this world because of a few dicks on the very top. They are tryiing to make it sound like it s out (the people's) business. In fact the conflict always comes down to money and power.

  • Where have Jane Sharpe's supporting actresses gone?

  • @duckhunt1045

He was in regiment. In the book at least

  • When was rossingdale ever a friend of sharpes? I don't ever remember him being in any of the previous episodes before he gets with sharpes wife.

  • This episode is RIPESTT!!!

  • "...and end his years in the colonies."

    Sounds rather nice, actually :)

  • 7:24 anyone else stop and R0FL?

  • boy, sharpe just can't help being framed can he

  • Oh that is... Ripe...

  • "He had a terrible hard time, poor old Job. Boils, you know."

"Yeah I read about the boils." lol

  • Even a rat bastard like Rossendale has limits on how low he will sink.

  • Aye the honourable man that wants to beat the shite outta ya :/ thought u wer clever Rossendale :p

  • Theres nothing wrong with being "free with your affections" lol

  • Thank God they never called Sharpe Dick in France. I can imagine it now: "Harper, Patrick; Hagman, Daniel; Sharpe, Dick" Hello there, Sharpe Dick.... XD

  • sharpe is always getting framed for something isn't he

  • lol..."Book of job"

Harper: " JOb, book of jOb"

  • Anne the spy

  • And to think that I thought Sir Willoughsby was cool. He gets worse as we go along.

  • WOOOOOO.....someones got an evil twin

  • No way he has a brother!

  • So now Lord John feels bad?

  • He just wants to be rid of Sharpe, he doesn't want him to be disgraced.

  • George is a cunt ! gahh ! I know its just s show but, I wanna kick that guy right in the nuts !

  • I love harper's sarcasm haha.

  • ooh, poor Sharpe!

nobody likes him there and his former friends are all mad at him...

he's really havin' loads of misfortune...

  • like Job

  • i think someone snapped their dick off in george's asshole

  • I really really hate this George!!!

  • OH MY GOD, Sharpe had a brother and he didn't know about it!!

This is one bad episode for Shapre, things just aren't going his way!!

  • This is a pretty ridicules episode...

  • Trueman is sharpe`s brother???

  • yeah

  • He reads the book of Job, how ironic.

  • what are 'the pox'? some STD? certainly doesn't sound like small pox

  • Syphilis

  • It is an STD ... the syphillis, gonnerhea and so on.

  • Pox means any number of diseases, including cowpox and chickenpox -both were very deadly back then.

  • however in Sharpe's Seige when its mentioned - the men are scratching their groin to hell lol so Siuphilip is indeed corrent.

  • I HATE THE ARISTOCRACY!

    lying cowards

  • thx for posting this!☺

  • Dammit Sharpe! You let the inkeeper overhear your business with Hagman. Why don't you just announce it with a bullhorn in the town square :P

  • I hate Jane, she's worse than her lover.

  • that fat bastard.. grrrrrr!

  • love the way he says book of JOB in a yorkshire accent, haha,

  • Boils.

    Yeah, I read about those.

  • I Hate that Jane Woman!

  • Willoughby is a bastard

  • "He is an honorable man, and I do not believe what the papers say about him!"

Said by Rossendale, who stole Sharpe's money and his wife. Strange isn't it!?

  • He only stole one of his wives... :)

  • then he felt bad about it

  • I don't think he did. I think he just realized what Sharpe truly was. It was his wife that hated him.

  • @PrincessSys24

and who told sharpe´s wife what a murderous bastard he´d become, just one episode earlier. he´s one of the very few weak and illogical characters in this otherwise brilliant series

  • @PrincessSys24 "I regret that I played a part in his present misfortune."

people forget that Rossendale was once a friend of Sharpe's too.

  • @PrincessSys24 Poor guy's got conscience, but is to weak to be honourable. Gotta pity the guy for his weakness, kinda.

  • @PrincessSys24 Because he was Sharpe's friend at one point. so he still has some form of respect for him.

  • Man... I liked Willoughby. It's a shame he turned out bad.

  • Same

  • Ya were supposed to...
