thanks for the ride!  I anchored my 32 foot Ranger sailboat right there and swam in with just a credit card and beach shorts. yeah, it does'n't get much better. anyone remember the "Skipper" from Gilligans' Island who was there every Sunday and held one side of the limbo pole?

My wife and I met the Skipper in Waikiki back in 2005. Partied with him in one of the bars on Lewers our first night in town, then saw him at Duke's on Sunday.  I often wondered if he is still around. Please let me know if you find out about him.

We were there in July '10. This hotel in general and Duke's are both wonderful. It's a long way from Ireland but we hope to return!

Just got back from Waikiki 2 weeks ago and although I stroll by Dukes every year I'm there, it was 1986 the last time I actually was at Dukes having a drink.

I hung out at this place every evening for 4.20 celebrations on the beach.The waitresses were friendly and gorgeous.The band that plays before sunset is awesome.
