Was just wandering if the tip of the inside ski was in contact with snow or is the inside ski completly off the snow when tipping it?

You can lift slightly, front or back of the ski. Or lift the whole ski or don't lift it at all, depends on your balance awareness.
Really fantastic!! That little "Phantom move" produces great turns with minimal effort. I use it every time I ski and It works so good. There is no expert skiing without that little thing. Excellent coaching as always!
