This was great and helped me figure out my hydration strategy for a recent half marathon. I ran with a handheld bottle and got through more drink than I expected, so followed the Flo method and as I approached the aid stations, got the bottle top off in prep and shouted out 'in please' .....'in.. in IN IN!!!!' - sweet volunteer got the message and dumped the drinks in my bottle and off I went, maintaining momentum. Thanks volunteer, Thanks Flo! No more bouncy waist bands for me, ugh, hate'em.
Great recap, Flo! Like you, I've had a love/hate relationship with my bottles/belts over the years. I don't want to tell you how many I have, but many more than you do!! I like my hand-helds now also (at least this year!). Thanks for the good info.
Wow to go Flo, you are a cutie. My god, my collection or hydration paraphanalia matches yours exactly, right down to the 12 & 20oz Amphipods that are my consistent "go to" hand helds - that's so funny. I could have made this video (although my version would have sucked - Kudos to your version!)
You funny and helpful girl! I watched with a few of my kids today and they loved your "running running, marathon running"! I'm with you on the handheld....I like a 12 oz. myself. Keep up the good work!
thank you for sharing, i'm new to this water belt thing, so your video help a great deal

I like the pointer of a large mouth to refill your bottles at hydration stations. I never would have thought of that.

Drink before running, don't carry anything.

@johnlvs2run Not a great idea when marathon training unless you have fountains available or plant bottles in advance (pain in the ass).

Is somebody from HBO or CBS watching? Give this girl her own show. She's good!
