He is not a commie. If he was he wouldnt hav spent years in vietnam being beaten because he wouldnt give up military secrets. I dnt agree wit him on the woodstock thing but obama has spent trillions more than any presind in their 1st 2 years
Kudos. I really hope they don't build the Woodstock museum. It was an event of rebellion, and the museum would be the government trying to put it's stamp of approval on it.
YES, together we beat Obama!!!! Clinton and McCain fans unite!! I'm from Indiana and I voted Hillary today. Obama will be stopped. Republicans would rather face Clinton!!!!
In this case one would have to agree with McCain, this woodstock campaign is pretty silly. The people who were at Woodstock should be able to Fund this independently, without government help. And if they want to provide the youth thier experience, it would never be the same if the government help fund it. The real spirit of Woodstock would be repulsed by the government involvement.
Trying to analyze this fairly, without political bias.
1 million dollars is nothing compared to the trillions that McCain wants to waste in his 100 years in Iraq, along with the other wars he'd start. Someone get this Commie out of here.
It's funny you refer to MacCain as a Commie, considering Ultra-liberals are the current incarnation of Communism in America. Don't throw out something as an insult if it doesn't apply!
Yes, and McCain is the biggest liberal "Republican" (in name only) the party's ever had. IDK what the fuck the GOP voters were thinking when they voted for him.
I don't believe in the words "moderate Republican". That term is just an excuse that these goons like Rudy Giuliani & John McCain use to change positions whenever they find it to be politically savvy. You're either to the left, to the right, or you're a libertarian. IMO, since John McCain favors collectivism over individualism, as well as many other far left ideals(and his policies do reflect that), that is enough for me to stay home in Nov. I hope the GOP learns something when it loses.
Maybe "Communist" is a harsh word. But you have to admit, he's too far to the right to be a real Republican. Amnesty (immigration), overspending, and of course, the infamous campaign finance reform are just a few of the things that disqualify him as being a real conservative. Being hawkish isn't the only thing that people are going to look at come November. My guess to why he won the nomination is because he was the only "moderate" running against several GOP conservatives at the same time.
The point is, neither candidate is going to please everybody because we all have such different values and ideas so it is stupid to bash on other people's beliefs.
Just as many people that oppose a museum honoring Woodstock probrably support it. It is hard in politics to please everybody and I do not necessarily support Hillary over any other presidential candidate, but we do need candidates with different perspectives on things to represent the different values of the American people.
If you dispise "dirty liberal hippies"... Great. If you were a part of the counter-culture movement, Cool.
Actually, I thought he had the best line in the debate "I was tied up."
But, when you put it in perspective, $1mn isn't squat when we're throwing $250mn down the drain every damn day in mess-opotamia. What's that, like 5 minutes worth of war??
Who cares about a million dollars for a Woodstock Museum, when BILLIONS have gone "missing" in Iraq? If McCain cares about fiscal responsibility, he needs to address the concern where REAL dollars are being wasted. The military-industrial complex is robbing us blind, and McCain is fighting hippies from the sixties.

There is a huge difference between being a moderate republican and being so left as to be deemed communist.

Dear John,
Torture is a waste of American Pride and Principles.
The Iraq occupation is a waste of American manpower and taxes.
So John,
What are your priorities and principles for America?

McCain is the only GOP candidate who opposes torture, probably because he was for a POW for several years
