There is no evidence that proves he shoot the gun as of yet nor is there any that he didn't. The police never said he shooting at them, they said they feared for their lives and that is why they shot at him, which is allowed by law.

By the time the armed police got to the area Raoul was already on the run and they never got to him to shoot him. That is a completely different case to this one where the officers were armed and trying to make arrests to tackle gun crime and gangs. There is no evidence that victim didn't/did shoot at the police.

@jman9900 You seem to have a complete hatred for the police and assume they're all racist. The police officers Raoul Moat shot at were unarmed and hence couldn't shoot at him back. By the time the armed police got to the area Raoul was already on the run and they never got to him to shoot him. That is a completely different case to this one where the officers were armed and trying to make arrests to tackle gun crime and gangs. There is no evidence that victim didn't/did shoot at the police.

If 20% of the police force were racist and voted BNP, BNP would have way more votes than they did so that statistically is unlikely. The police clearly believe and are told by senior officers that they are above the law. The chap who sold the illegal taser to the police as found dead in his garden so he will not be testifying in court now will he?

Also the fact that these were two unrelated cases handled by two separate forces of police is something people can't quite grasp either. The actions of one officer is not the same as the actions of another. They're not all robots who act the same. Plus evidence police are told they are above the law?

@jman9900 There were no armed police present when he shot the three people or declared war on the police force. He killed himself before the police got to him, they found him dead. They had a stand off with him but he was covered and never removed himself from said cover for them to shoot at him. Also we're talking about two different police forces here so they're unlikely to act the act same now.

In regards to killing of Mark Duggan, has anyone heard a statement from the Taxi Driver who witnessed EVERYTHING? Suspect to me that he has said nothing! This is the UK- the number one media hungry country! They can tap phones but can't get answers from a key witness. Am I the only one that thinks this is strange? Mr Duggan never fired a shot, got shot by one policeman twice in the chest and bicep and bullet to another officer's radi and all now no statement from the Taxi Driver! OVER SUSPECT!

From what I know, after the police killed him, they found a gun in his sock.. Obviously it was not known about, nor aimed or fired before the police killed Duggan in cold blood , without trial.
Duggan may have been a low-life shit, but he was still a human being. In United Kingdom, all humans are entitled to their rights. Mark Duggan was not given any rights. Therefore this killing is unjustified and therefore illegal.

@adethelemon ..your view is deeply flawed and inflamatory, as long as the CO19 officer followed his operational rules there is no case to answer, its not like there was any 'personal' history between the pair. He was pulled in as part of an operation against a low life crim with a gun in his possession. It is not exactly normal behaviour to carry a gun, it is also illegal. The crim was deemed a threat and was shot.Good riddance...advice to other low life crims....grow up and stop carrying guns
