OMG SERIOUSLY DAVID ALWAYS HAS THIS WAY TO INFILTRATE ALL HIS FELLING INTO EVERY SONG AND WHEN I LISTEN TO THIS SONG I GO TO SLEEP IT'S A REALLY BEUTIFUL SONG
So Beautiful , It reminds me of a beautiful woman smiling while her hair blows in the beach side wind , such emotions it stirs . So beautiful it makes me cry .
Nobody can communicate through the guitar like David Gilmour. The feeling he expresses is like a huge tonal wave that bewitches your senses and plays with your emotions. What a shame he had to share his sadness with us all in this way. RIP Richard Wright.
what amazes me isnt the fact that he right songs like this (well it does) but the fact that if you notice, everytime he plays a song he keeps the same basic's in the solo but changes notes in his favor...I admire that so much.
Oh.....my.......god. I had the hair on my neck stand up at the solo from the Royal Albert Hall Concert already.....now I hear THIS. This guy hikes along the guitar frets like an explorer does a mountain. Every unexpected note is awesome. I love how his strat is so beat up over the years too. He will not be unfaithful to it. lol.
I wish Richard was still with us. He would have performed on that show with David. They were both amazing musicians and I felt really sad when Richard died. Sometimes I think I wish I had died before him.
Oh God, this guy can do transform a wood piece, with little strings and little lever, in a special instrument for space communication. He should send the melodic rockets in the next NASA moon project. TANKS GUILMOUR - To Wadilson - Belo Horizonte City - BRAZIL
this is my fav version of 'the blue'..you can feel david is expressing his pain & sorrow in this song. Its has such intense feeling you just want to cry along.
i found this version and was blown away by its intensity.I realised it was 2 weeks after ricks passing and am content to listen to this version.I notice my kids even watch and listen when i play it-and they hate dad's crapy old music.peace.

I'm very sad when this song ends. Why? Because it has to end. :(

Clearly this is the most sad version of this song. David and the band are really expressing their pain in this version... beautiful song, RIP Rick!
