I think she's singing pretty well. The only reason why it sounds quite uncomfortable is because she's competing with the guitar for volume...

This cover could have been much better had you done it without the playing of instruments, or if you could lower the volume of the guitar somehow.. ^^

The song is at the top of just about any girl's comfortable chest voice range. It's written for a male voice. So unless I sang it in my head voice, which would sound really wimpy, it's gonna sound like shouting in some parts. Pitfalls of a girl covering a guy song.
