  • i swear i head a meooow and a moo in the process

  • its clearly a cow

  • @nicktesla45 Your an idiot lol a cicada doesn't look remotely similar to this it's definitely a dragonfly breaking free from the exoskeleton of his previous stage of life as a nymph much like a cicada does but this is definitely a dragonfly.

  • <3 the song.

  • The thumb nail looked like a skate boarding praying mantis for some reason.

  • It's my dragonfly!

  • super cool

  • IM ALIIIIIIIIVE

  • how long did the whole process take?

  • Very cool insects. They have their young in the water so they don't compete for food with the parents.

pwnagemyman, keep doing what you are doing and I will expect to see your work in the National Geographic someday.

    ...

Congratulations! Your VIBRAVA evolved into FLYGON!

  • so much better with the 1911 filter

  • Wow, sexy

  • ITS JUSTIN BIEBER! :D

  • From the ashes of the dead come the bright begginings of the new.

  • @wolftowerstudios it wasn't dead dude....

  • @tomview1 Ik....But the nymph body was.

  • @wolftowerstudios But that is the nymph body - post metamorphosis and climbing out of a shell.

Sure "From the ashes etc." is a lovely poetic observation - but totally wrong - no death involved.

Even the title is misleading - this is but a small part of the life cycle of a dragonfly.

  • @tomview1 You just love ruining theoretical poems, dont you, and making exact scientific things? Next thing you know, your gonna go "And it's not a dragon fly, its a dragonia flyia"

  • @wolftowerstudios I don't really care what its name is, being poetic is never an excuse for being ignorant.

And yes Poetry is an art, and art may interpret. But this is a public forum, and I am your audience. Your audience has spoken. Now you have choices, to either address a new audience, encouraging of your interpretation, or, be learned and intellectual as an artist and educate your interpretation with reality, lest you want to continue this existence, ignorant of reality and drawing flack.

  • @tomview1 shut up already and get a life already, nerd

  • @wolftowerstudios Oh I'm sorry - You're a gamer!! You don't do reality!! And you have the hide to tell me to get a life!?!?...is that a life in fantasy or reality?... et tu nerdus!

  • @tomview1 et tu?Whats that?Star trek? And gamer=nerd. I=Balanced. You will find lots of people who balance school, video games, homework, travel soccer or other sports, and scooter and archery AND bit of skateboard. Nerd-o-meter:No nerdiness involved.U, a nerd who goes around stalking videos to hate on and ruining poems, nerd o meter:Oops, u broke it.

  • @wolftowerstudios It's Shakespeare you pillock!! Sensitive!!Fuck me - you present your art for all to see - man the fuck up and take an alternative idea. You're not a gamer and you play video games? Self determination must be yet to happen - like puberty.Fucking Wallflower.

  • @tomview1 PS.U arent meh adiunce. I was speakin to the uploader and to the viewerS.VIEWERS.Your just one.THats a biiiiiiiiig dif.i learned that in what, 2nd grade?!

  • @wolftowerstudios Ahh Art - that which can camoflage intellect or the lack there of. If I am but one of your viewers - why do you treat me as though I am your only viewer?....2nd grade before you learned self determination?? thats what toddlers do!!

Give it a rest Wallflower, lest you spend yourself in an orgasm of intellectual intercourse, to be left sweating and rapid of pulse and breath - like one caught in the act of selfindulgence.

  • @tomview1 Im gonna find the report button for "Excesivly stalking and nerding"

  • @wolftowerstudios or you could shut up and I will leave you alone.

  • @tomview1 You sir, are retarded. Combining difficult words with your shit spelling just shows your lack of intelligence ;)

  • @SpiritJaivyn Speak for yourself - as you do.

  • Neat video, and the music goes with it! {:)

  • i masterbated to this

  • That's not a dragonfly that's a damselfly >_> .

  • @Reidakk Definitely not. >_> .

  • @aronchai It's not a dragonfly damselflies have their eyes separate and dragonflies have them one beside the other and that one in the video has it's wings in a case more proof that it's a damselfly !

  • @aronchai Definitely not a dragonfly .

  • im pretty sure that its a mayfly

  • nature is amazing, so why do we fu..ck w it?

  • this is true...couse i see in my life..dragonfly metamorfhosis..like this...

  • Eww eww eww ewww eww eww eww eww eww!!!!!!

  • Its a drgonfly! Cool! But how the hell could evoloution do THAT?

    Anwer: It couldn't!

  • @MegaAnkylosaurus the fact your brain can't accept it doesn't disprove it

  • @stuchly1 The fact that physics and ecology can't accept it does disprove it. We could type to eachother until our fingers fall off and it would not change a thing in me nor you, so lets just say this conversation did not happen. Agree?

  • awesome!

  • ZOMBIE !!!!! :O RUN!

  • Really incredible.

    The most beautiful insects

  • the hulk

  • cool

  • wtc?!

  • nice pictures

  • Such beautiful insects, pity there life expectency is shit :/

  • that was cool

  • Those nymohs'll tear the shit right outta' a tadpole

  • this is amazing!!!!!

  • it looked like an alien awesome

  • Autobots! Transform!

  • Amazing!

  • it's not hatching and it's not a nymph..it's just like a teenager dragonfly changing it's skin until it turns to adulthood..next time pls post a video that entitles the "REAL" story of the video...ok..?!

  • It's ImPerfect -CELL

  • hmm...i was basing my identification on the wing placement..maybe if it had finally fanned its wings out in proper dragonfly fashion i wouldn't have been confused. but looking at the general morphology of the nymph casing and its tail, it does look like a dragonfly.

    sorry about that

  • Neat. Lamenting07....sorry but it's a dragon. It is a Dromogomphus species. Most likely Dromogomphus spinosus...Black-shouldered Spinylegs.

  • thanks a lot for sharing that

  • Hydralisk!!

  • hey, great catch!

just an FYI though, that's a damselfly, not a dragonfly

  • @Lamenting07 This is a Dromogomphus species. Probably D. spinosus or the Black-shouldered Spinylegs. Damsels have different body morphology.

  • cool, thx man

  • gross!!!!!

  • Ha didn't know Dragons Fly's had to go through this process.. I seem Dragon Flies every now and then in and around where I live

  • Dragonflies are marvellous, because they are adapted to both aquatic and aviation life.

  • WTF ????

  • lol its like a mary poppins bag (you know how big things fit into her small bag thing?)

  • CELL from DBZ

  • @aznfire5 HAHAHA that's halarious

i never realized how amazing bugs actually are, this video does some justice, nice work

  • omg its Cell!! LMFaO

  • people experience this type of metamorphosis, as well

  • it keeps the same eyes... i dont know if thats weird or not

  • they taste good when you grill them up with barbacue sauce....

  • just one of the many wonders on life on our tiny planet.

  • did the dragon fly really come out of that

  • insects are so disgusting lolz

  • When you look at them like that rather than admiring nature

  • excellent !!! i love them dragonflies ... they´re like a ltitle piece of "art nouveau" flying all over...

  • im glad you enjoyed it

  • @danoninolite NO! it's a Cicada and it is breaking Free of the old shell ! That is what WE do when we "die"! We leave the old shell behind and fly away !

  • Great job!

  • Amazing! You show a great amount of patience in this. Those insects take a while to come out of their little haven.

  • reminds me of the end to scooby doo lol

  • Several nymphs hatched by my wildlife pond just last week. Beautiful :-)

  • i know what it is!!!! AN EDIT.

  • its a locust

  • thats not a locust lol locusts do not live near water and they certainly dont have wings tat look anything like that

  • No it isn't, stupid.

  • i barly use a net...i use my hands and reflex speeed

  • wth..i use to catch them when i was young with my two fingers. I have no idea the growth stages of dragonfly

  • they start as little tings in water then climb to a high dry place and hatch into dragonflys

oh and my friend and i caugth them too

  • they can't just leave their coat lying there on the ground... or can they?

  • does a butterfly get rid of their chrysalis?

  • Nice gomphid

  • dat looked discusting

  • thats so amazing how they do that. i watch that happen every year but with monarch butterflies.

  • That was excellent. The music was cool, also.

  • new PC good

  • Well done, I just wish you had continued to take pictures as it's wings expanded and it flew.

  • i would but it would take a while for the wings to dry and also that whole set of clips took an hour to film

  • dragonflies eat mosquitoes and other small bugs therefore they are very good to have

  • the larvae eat minnows and shit but what do the dragonflies eat?
