They really do like the hamster balls my hamster loves them he will get in his ball himself just so he can run around the house. If the hamster was scared you would know she wouldn't run like that and she would squeak loudly while she was in the ball and not run so she could clean herself excessively and she would chatter her teeth while she cleaned and she does not look like she is chattering her teeth cause she is running and enjoying it.

The Hamster is scared and tries to get out, that is the ONLY reason he keeps running. He's trying to find the exit.

I don't understand how people can look at that and think its a good idea.

If you would see someone put a dog or a child in a plastic-ball like that you would be SHOCKED!

Why is it different when it comes to little animals?

They deserve your respect just like any other living creature!

Also have you heard of zorbing? it's where someone gets put in a ball and rolls down a hill in it and it is really fun.

But just one question because you seem to know everything in the world and even from a hamsters point of view:

How could the poor thing possible chew on something in a BALL? There is not a chance for it to do so since it's spinning!

Some people may like rolling down the hill. But they can choose to do so. I don't think you would like it if someone TRAPPED you in one & PUSHED you down the hill!

The hamster can easily stop and so would the spinning, hamsters don't think like humans their brains are far less developed than ours Don't humanize animals because when you do that it leaves to behavour problems.

Also they willingly get in the gyro ball anyway, i don't think it is very nice all you judgemental people comment to give of the impression that wheekies is a bad hamster owner.
