I was complete game! All the objects in the game have no uses. When you see 2 and 3 objects on every screen you just know it's going to be a long game going backwards and forwards over and over. No thanks! Glad you enjoyed the walkthrough!

Also note that the doors in the background are just scenery, the keys allow you to get through certain doors at the sides of the screen.
I never finished the game despite playing it a lot, it was very challenging, esp. as you have to eat and sleep to stay alive.
