I was given this song on tape about 89 or 90 by an old girlfriend, who smiled & said "You're Just like Louis." -- I took that as a compliment & have loved the song ever since... And although she & I went our separate ways years ago, I have nothing but good things to say about her. -- So thanks for posting the video. -- And thank you, Lori for making it special.

Great Video!! This is one of my favorite songs ever!!! I love Billy Falcon's music. I saw him in person at the Rock of Ages performing with Bob Stanley. He was always full of energy and sings with so much passion. I have this song on a CD, but never saw the video before. I used to picture it in my mind and now I don't have to. Thanks a lot. I'd like to buy more of his CD's if he has any others out there.

Fall of'91, driving to college... heard this song and it's been in my head ever since. Still sing it to myself to this day - great lyrics and thank you for posting it. I actually own the "pretty blue world" CD. "love don't stop" is another beautiful song.

I haven't heard this song since '91/'92. I could only remember the title, not the artist. I've tried calling a radio station to see if they knew. They vaguely remembered the song, but couldn't remember the artist either. I decided to type the line "swears it's the statue of Mary that keeps the car from falling apart" on the internet and got the answer. Thanks falcoholic for posting this.
