Although I have played a few "sissy, non-rushing and too many snipers" type of teams... Overall the (RUSH) games I play daily in BC2 are intense and fast paced. My squad and most of my clan are like myself, level 50s and we love a good challenge. Recon/Sniping is the most selfish class, hands down. I don't snipe very often, but when I do it's for the team, not selfish reasons.

snipers arent really that big of a deal. theyre terrible shots and they make the rest of the killing easy. i mean myself and a few of the people i know play recon CORRECTLY! we take a couple of shots (i usually shoot the medic thats running cus hes going to do something helpful to his team) accurately, move, then do it some more. i take objectives and hide with my gillie suit. not moving the whole game is the person. nothing wrong with a good sniper watchin your back.

@Hensme223 They show you who killed you on a extreme close up of your killer, but without giving you an approximate location. The guy could be huddled in bush or up against a wall, with no geographical or structural indicators, and you can't get a fix on their last location. The BF killcam is not helpful. The radar feature, I described, does not happen, period. The only time they would show up is with sniper support. Maybe you should pay attention to your game before looking at posts on youtube.

I'm all for BF for beating the next COD, but they could take just two things from COD that would be helpful in BF. That is the killcam and the radar system. When someone fires near your radar, unless they are using suppressors, they will show up on the radar for the duration of their fire, and then they disappear. Both of these features are helpful in locating enemies known or last known locations. It's also a better solution than what this guy proposes, limiting two snipers per team, ridiculous

no no. every team needs and should have 4 snipers, 1 per squad, plus snipers are not a problem, if the enemy team is sniping i will just run with a medic to the mcom and arm it. next i like the 40sec get out of spawn timer. 3rd, NO killstreaks the whole point of each class is to prevent an all assault team from also being the all engineer and recon team as well. Each kit playes their role! If a tank is bunkered up, ill just go and arm the charge while half their team is worried about the tank.
Wings you just dont get it, Battlefield has TOO MANY PLAYERS for killstreaks... and besides, it already has vehicles, how would killstreaks add up? whats the point of having the ability to call in an airstrike if there are already two jets on the map. the ammount of firepower in that level would be INSANE... too much.
the Sniper solution is already present as a server feature... besides that, DICE are already introducing more complex sniping mechanics, so sniping will not be that popular.
60 fps wont happen...on consoles. You want 60 fps then get it on pc. in rush yes you can't go into the base of the team rushing but they wont win the match if they stay there either cause they'll run out of tickets. Defenders dont get tickets, On top of that once they capture the first base and move down the map they arn't protected by that boundry anymore. the defending team can go and base rape them if they want, like me. I think you've been spoiled by CoD for its unrealistic Arcadey gameplay
BF always had bullet travel time with any weapon. problem with bf on consoles is that its got only 24 per room. increasing the player count increases the pace and intensity. It doesn't need killstreaks cause that WOULD kill the team based gameplay. You see it on CoD. Everyones going for kills but when theres a chopper in the sky god forbid someone switch to a class with an rocket to take it out. Sniping wasn't a problem for me in bf bc 2, M60's equipped with an acog with no loss in accuracy was.

The only way kill streaks would work is if they were set pieces already on the map that you could use only once per team per game. I'm thinking things like the mortars and ships in the background would come into play for a little once one player on your team got a certain kill streak.

Battlefield is not CoD, battlefield (for the most part) simulates more realistic combat than CoD does (not that BF is perfect). the Assault class should not be able to take down a tank. that is almost exclusively the job of your engineers and snipers, who have C4 and such. there is not an "over abundance of snipers" most teams with lots of snipers lose consistently. char lim.

I think you have some good points there with the frame rate and the heli re spawns but i do not wish bf3 to become like cod. If you like that sort of game play then play cod. If you like strategy with your fps then play bf3. I think dice should stick to the formula of the previous battlefield series and develop that. Cod is a casual run and gun with no real tactics, very linear. Cod for kids and bc2 for adults. its that simple. halo is the same.
It will be better if they give the game a better gameplay on PC and more interest missions(no level in any other fps beats "Wolverines" in COD, third WW and the Russians invading homes of americans, that was very dramatic). Battlefield only have generic fps missions. If they do this and create a less linear story, something that COD doesn't have, it will surely be the top fps.

Are you a retard? Humans can't see more than 40 FPS. Snipers act as support for the team, having only two would screw shit up. 40 seconds to get out of the spawn? That is stupid, people usually get out of spawn first thing you moron and snipers move up as well. Kill streaks would encourage camping, you twit. Teamwork is for battlefield. It's a large part of it. 30fps has nothing to do with contols. 30 fps doesn't look any more better than 60. Are you so inbred you have to fuck up a good game?

@Hensme223 They show you who killed you on a extreme close up of your killer, but without giving you an approximate location. The guy could be huddled in bush or up against a wall, with no geographical or structural indicators, and you can't get a fix on their last location. The BF killcam is not helpful. The radar feature, I described, does not happen, period. The only time they would show up is with sniper support. Maybe you should pay attention to your game before looking at posts on youtube.

I'm all for BF for beating the next COD, but they could take just two things from COD that would be helpful in BF. That is the killcam and the radar system. When someone fires near your radar, unless they are using suppressors, they will show up on the radar for the duration of their fire, and then they disappear. Both of these features are helpful in locating enemies known or last known locations. It's also a better solution than what this guy proposes, limiting two snipers per team, ridiculous

on pc you can get over 100 fps easily with a good gpu and cpu, thats only because the frostbite is such an optimized engine. not hating on consoles, just sayin.........on pc you can run any game at over 60 fps (asuming you play without Vsync)

i listened to this and i couldnt disagree more, this is such a COD approach its not even funny. BFBC 2 is slow paced because its realistic and much more strategic rather than being focused as a twitch shooter. i hope it takes stuff from battlefield 2, that is the only true game that can help them add to their already very successful roots

no no. every team needs and should have 4 snipers, 1 per squad, plus snipers are not a problem, if the enemy team is sniping i will just run with a medic to the mcom and arm it. next i like the 40sec get out of spawn timer. 3rd, NO killstreaks the whole point of each class is to prevent an all assault team from also being the all engineer and recon team as well. Each kit playes their role! If a tank is bunkered up, ill just go and arm the charge while half their team is worried about the tank.

Wings you just dont get it, Battlefield has TOO MANY PLAYERS for killstreaks... and besides, it already has vehicles, how would killstreaks add up? whats the point of having the ability to call in an airstrike if there are already two jets on the map. the ammount of firepower in that level would be INSANE... too much.
the Sniper solution is already present as a server feature... besides that, DICE are already introducing more complex sniping mechanics, so sniping will not be that popular.

60 fps wont happen...on consoles. You want 60 fps then get it on pc. in rush yes you can't go into the base of the team rushing but they wont win the match if they stay there either cause they'll run out of tickets. Defenders dont get tickets, On top of that once they capture the first base and move down the map they arn't protected by that boundry anymore. the defending team can go and base rape them if they want, like me. I think you've been spoiled by CoD for its unrealistic Arcadey gameplay

BF always had bullet travel time with any weapon. problem with bf on consoles is that its got only 24 per room. increasing the player count increases the pace and intensity. It doesn't need killstreaks cause that WOULD kill the team based gameplay. You see it on CoD. Everyones going for kills but when theres a chopper in the sky god forbid someone switch to a class with an rocket to take it out. Sniping wasn't a problem for me in bf bc 2, M60's equipped with an acog with no loss in accuracy was.

most of these suggestions are bad. Battlefield was always fast-paced, sniping's fine, spawning's fine, vehicles's fine. Killstreaks would just turn the game into another generic COD rip-off (i believe MoH tried to do this.. not sure)

i have to disagree with you on many points, its true that when your the only one doing good but your teammates stupid is infuriating, but its all part of team work, and realistically you need to rely on your team to win the battle, kill streaks would just ruin it and it would further help the winning team then the loosing team. it should not be more faster pace game, it would make it less battlefield and more like counter strike fy_iceworld i would say more but im limited to 500 words.

The only way kill streaks would work is if they were set pieces already on the map that you could use only once per team per game. I'm thinking things like the mortars and ships in the background would come into play for a little once one player on your team got a certain kill streak.

you clearly have no idea what makes the battlefield franchise THE battlefield franchise. killstreaks? Battlefield is not CoD, battlefield (for the most part) simulates more realistic combat than CoD does (not that BF is perfect). the Assault class should not be able to take down a tank. that is almost exclusively the job of your engineers and snipers, who have C4 and such. there is not an "over abundance of snipers" most teams with lots of snipers lose consistently. char lim.

I did'nt play B2, but I think the campaigns on the 2 Bad Company game's (although great game's) did'nt stick in people's mind's because they did'nt stir any serious emotions because of theire comical edge. I think you have some good points there with the frame rate and the heli re spawns but i do not wish bf3 to become like cod. If you like that sort of game play then play cod. If you like strategy with your fps then play bf3. I think dice should stick to the formula of the previous battlefield series and develop that. Cod is a casual run and gun with no real tactics, very linear. Cod for kids and bc2 for adults. its that simple. halo is the same.

It will be better if they give the game a better gameplay on PC and more interest missions(no level in any other fps beats "Wolverines" in COD, third WW and the Russians invading homes of americans, that was very dramatic). Battlefield only have generic fps missions. If they do this and create a less linear story, something that COD doesn't have, it will surely be the top fps.

The only throne I bow before is that of halos! But in all honesty there are kinda 2 gps thrones. Halo kinda sits in it's own. While everyone fights for the other.
