i wear small beard but i must admit i m sinning because beard should be long..prophet s.a.w commanded us by simply saying trim your mustache and liv your beard..now its debatable how long beard should be but the best way is to liv it as commanded by prophet s.a.w ...the main point is muslim men should be recognised as muslims and should not emulate non believers .wallahu alam.
which hadith are you reffering to there us many hadiths from the sunni books that contridict Islam. The beard is wajib I NEVER SAID IT WASNT but each school of thought has a diffrent of opinions on the length of the beard. intillect needs to be th ekey not emotions.
