@ferrari4sale I use a water pump & water filter... the water pump pumps the water up from the bottom of the tank to the top of the tank where the water filters do their job... the water filter is that of an AquaOne T aquarium tank, noodles and sponge.
No set routine of cleaning it all... water change about once a month/two months, esp. when nitrate is high or there maybe ammonia. When ever I feed my frogs (every 2 -3 days) I look to see if I need to tidy it up, like pick up poo from rocks or branches but it's rare, it all usually falls in the water already, and so does their shedded skin. Clean the filter every few months.
26 wts. Exo Terra 2.0 uvb light bulb. The fitting glows after the light it switched off, real cool light thing "Repti-Glo" by Exo Terra. I'll do a glow clip one night lol
My frog tank is a fish tank so I use the filter it came with, Aqua One 620T tank. Because the tank only has water at the bottom, I have the pump at the bottom of the tank and ran a pipe up to the filter which runs across the top back of the tank, then the water gets spat out from the top which sprays onto the glass (like a water fall). Also have a little pipe which drops a little water some where else to keep the place more moist.

what is better a terrarium or a tank?
MRxGARE 3 years ago
i think they are both good, just depends what you prefer. Though I do find that some terrariums are over priced.

Wow. No wonder the frogs are happy! What wattage light bulbs do you use?
