  • lol

  • i hate the musik at the beginnign

  • i like the music at the beggining

  • what are deadlights? what does it look like and if its a light then how is it demonic and how can it eat and transforms to things? i dont get it! please someone tell me theirs no way im gonna read it and even i should i cant afford to go to amazon and buy and i dont like reading in general but i wouldnt want to read a book after watching the movie i hate that.

  • The deadlights are It's representation in the macroverse. Pennywise, the spider, etc are all representations of It in this world, but It is all powerful in the macroverse, where it was born. That's why It tries to take Bill over there. The deadlights are It

There's no way I can tell u everything in like 400 characters. Go to a library, read the book, it's really fun

  • sorry, i already said i hate reading books after the movie. besides my library dont have any stephen king it books and even if it is its probably checked out all the time becuz stephen king books are there but i never see "It" in my library, and besides that i dont like reading in general anyway nor i have the time for it.

  • Then suffer the consequences of being a moron.

  • Deadlights is just a human explanation of the place It and the Great Turtle came from. We don't really know what in the world is over there; the book describes any human being getting a good look at it going insane, so I wouldn't expect a literary description to be particularly helpful in telling us what it is.

  • There Its true form just a ray of lights but we cant understand it

  • ooooooooh hoda fiiiiiive hoda's NO?

  • it is not real-it kis a film, and a book written by an etremely clever man. don't delve into the world of spamming, its stupid and these things don't happen, the good or the bad. It's simply technological stories.

  • i know right it gets so annoying

  • wat book iz 'IT' based on ?

  • Book of the same name.

  • i am reading the book now its a good read what sux to me is gorgie dies i hate that part but its still a good book^^

  • but if he hasn't died, then bill would'nt bee so eager 2 kill It

  • Was it the clown or was it something else as toke him?

  • it was the actual spirit of IT

  • i love this movie..

  • omg WOW. scary.

  • Well they are Deadlights IT either eats you or your mind EXPLODES because you see ITs true form

  • wow.. did light just kill him

  • poor patrick

  • the book kills him off much cooler.

  • I wish they would have shown the Turtle in the movie. :(

  • i know me too!! me and my stebrother were waitin for it and it never showed upp!

  • again suppose to scare us?

  • Were all the kids back then obbsessed with floating things?

  • Everything floats down here....that is if it's mass per unit is equel too or lighter than that of water.

  • wasnt that on robot chicken?lol

  • I hope it airs again this year. Also, sorry I didn't notice your username. Sorry it's been a while since we've talked.

  • The True form is his Deadlights.

  • And the Deadlights are...?

  • The bright lights that come out of the spiders abdomen. "It" was around since the beginning representing the force of destruction while another entity (the Turtle)representing the force of Creation. Its all in the book and i can't really explain it.

  • So if his true form is a light, then wouldn't that mean "It" doesn't have a true form, just a light?

  • that strange light.

  • Okay, so now that should leave the crimson King. What connection does he have with It since the Crimson King had something to do with the deadlights also? I heard that Pennywise is a servant of his, but that's only what a few fans think.

  • In the book he was a giant spider.

  • The spider is just one of his forms i think but Stan Uris talks about when he saw the Deadlights what he says makes it seem like the Lights are the real form. He said he saw "It", not the clown but what was behind the clown. He called them the Deadlights and said he "...wanted to be there."

  • When did that happen? How often do they show it on there?

  • for those who havnt seen the movie, thats Pennywise the clown in his "purest form", thats the only logical explanation i could sum up, really i saw the movie and idk what the fuck that thing is either...

  • his so-called true appearance is only what the human mind can comprehend, but its real true form is far worse

  • i don get it! i haven't seen it =/

  • i dont get it/

  • I don't think this scene is in the book

  • man theres stairs right there...why in the fuck would you try to run up them backwards.

    fuckin retard

  • He was too scared to move. So he didnt see the stairs. Thats why he didnt go up them.

  • I watched this wen i wuz little IT scared the f**k outta me. Ilook back on it and its lame.

  • yea this movie made me terrified of clowns...i look back on it this movie is boring & funny

  • well there rumors say a remake is going to be made and with all the special affects of these days it is gonna be dam scary

  • iu wish they would. thery never bring out any good horror movies like it anymoire and if they made a remake of it, that'd be great!

  • this movie used to give me nightmares, but now i see it sucks. its just like the goosebumps movie series but with a clown

  • I forget. Were those suposed to be the deadlights? Or was that It in his true form? Not the spider but his TRUE form. Does anyone know?

  • The deadlights ARE it's true form. At least, that's how I remember it...

  • Problem is ... as far as I've heared that they are doing another TV series following the story from Beverly's point ov view. Which is not so much of a good Idea, I guess.

A complete remake without cutting out so much of the novel would be cool.

  • Turn's out Sci-fi is Remaking this movie...Damn it..

  • what does it stand for?

  • The idea of a cannibalistic clown is pretty damn terrifying. Seeing a clown out of the circus in general is terrifying.

This movie is pretty scary but imagine if they were to film a remake. With all the technology we have nowadays, it would probably scare even the bravest of movie goers.

  • What you said is true, but the remakes are never as good as the originals.

  • Very true.

  • Read the novel. IT will scare you sh#7les :)

  • what hapend to that guy did he get killed or kidnapped lol

  • He got killed, but just watch the movie, its long and its scary

  • The clown i mean

  • I hate it but i cant stop watching it

what does he do to the little kids

  • What we do to a juicy steak w/ an empty stomach.

  • omg r u serious?

    thats sick

  • Yes, the monster that is the clown is eating the little kids.

  • i hate this so much! i cant believe that ShadowMaster9009 said that makes me sick!

  • if this had been made today, they would have shown what happened instead of the close up of the face (his head was ripped off)

  • part 2 is scarry

  • This tale as a book , is a one truly masterpiece, but this movie -.- it's quite crappy

  • Eh, it was a "made for tv" movie. You can only do so much. That and steven king admits he doesn't have (nor wants) any control over how his works are adapted to film. Most of the time his book to movies suck, but The Mist was a good watch.

The ending, even thought never in the book, was perfect

  • lol i like the one with the fat boy

  • manic, the movie is called "stephen kings IT" there are two parts to the movie, and im not sure but i think its two separate movies

  • its one movie... past and present, but its one movie...

  • seriously the dumbest movie ever. I mean come on a bright light comes down pops out and chases a guy for a few seconds and thats it. They screwed the book by making this movie.

  • whats the name of the movie??

I cant see it anywhere =(

  • its called "IT"

  • I never got the Deadlights thing

  • The book makes this look like a childrens day time T.V. ghost story.

  • you never forget your first experience watching a horror movie. I had the unfortunate experience of watching this movie... and not the second part (because they used to break up the movie into a "mini series" in those days). I didn't find out what happened for 3 years.

  • scary as hell

  • My mom read the book, she says its better.

The Stephen King books are always better than the movies in my opinion, I read Cujo, the book's freakier and I couldn't sleep for days.

  • is cujo in spanish?

  • i think so too.

  • carrie it is fu*king cool look at videos

  • Cycle of the Werewolf. The movie "Silver Bullet" is really good.

  • Woah! That's creepy!

  • poor Victor! :S I would have cried if it showed it tear off his head, even though frankistien is suppose too.

    ;~;

I love this movie and the book!

of course, hands down, the book is better.

-runs off drawing pictures of Henry, Victor, and Reginald-

  • The movie is no longer scary due to its special effects, but the chills that the book gives won't ever go away.

  • you serious?

  • it was scary in its time. its a classic old horror movie :P

  • some parts of this movie are scary and some aren't. hah, of course, the more realistic ones are more scary to me. cuz I hate clowns. x.x

  • Ha ha ha ha!!!! that bully motherfucker deserved that >=D

  • Omg I dont dare watch it :(

  • poor guy got his cocked sucked by IT!

  • wtf ru talkin u perve he just gpt attakced by it

  • at this part, what happens in the book??

  • it should be remade to tell the book better and use actors that portray 11 year old kids these kids look like teens

  • can you imagine the fit that mothers would have everywhere? besides the bully's in the book were older than the main group of kids anyways.

  • henry was only 12

  • what the fuck do u think its called?!

  • Does anyone else think this movie should be re made and follow the book dead on?

  • Hell yeah! At least, closer to it.

  • I DONT GET IT WATH IS VITH THAD LIGHT

  • DEADLIGHTS

  • I personally believe it is a JIN or a DEMON SPIRIT, the DEAD LIGHTS represent, very interesting.

  • a jin grants wishes it lived outside of the of the universe It is a character made up in Kings mind it lived in the world of the turtle where Rolands character is from the turtle guards one of the beams holding the world up. Reading the Dark tower series makes most of all his books understandable

  • penny wise is a pedo thats why he went for little children penny wise the clown peadophille.

  • Actually, because they're easier to eat/kill XP

  • true

  • It's also because the monster "IT" has more power by those that believe in it... Sort of like magick or voodoo... Since kids have a lot more imagination than adults, "IT" can be more real to them. I think it's a great metaphor for many things in life. If reality is just a manifestation of our mind, then children have the potential to realize everything.

  • that's the wisest thing i might see in my life!! You rock!

  • :) good way of putting it.

  • GREAT QUALITY, and an eve ebetter movie. watch it. it's funny, spooky, and INCREDIBLE!

  • i've always felt that all of the stephen king books were never done justice in film. they need to redo some of his books with modern effects and producers with a high budget. then these movies would be friggen awesome. imagine the people who made the saw series redo IT, or the shining, or Cujo....

  • Agreed. They didn't have the budget to make the ending (when they attack and finally kill IT) good. Even the people who made the movie thought that.

  • where did this clown come from?

  • I still don't get it

  • so, read a book :) it's great and better than movie

  • the acter of pennywise was not bob gray it was a guy called tim curry it even says on back of ITS dvd case

  • who says it was?

  • iam obsessed with clowns thats why i love pennywise the dancing clown a.k.a bob gray

  • aka, wtf he mutilated my dog

  • Tim Curry...

  • Yea it is Tim Curry

  • Tim Curry played Pennywise in the movie but Pennywise's real name is Bob Gray. Read the book.

  • Well, good luck with everything. Try to avoid killer clowns and Maury Povich.

  • I'm sorry to hear that.

  • well that was certainly a big mistake. I must say I haven't heard that expression before, coulrophobic. I'm not coulrophobic, but I think clownes in scary movies is the scariest! It's such an opposite!By the way, in the Saw-movies, there is a sort of clown, so I wouldn't recommend you watching those films.

  • ı fuck all of u.but not fullhenryege

  • what happened to him,i can't remember i havn't seen this movie in a long time

  • When does Pennywise say "Look into my deadlights!" when he pops out of a sewer pipe or something

  • ok, i didnt find this scary, nor any of the film.

  • if u think, it is a word that we use in auir dayly life SCARIE!!

  • whaa?! thats not scary!

  • Does anyone read Dreamcatcher by S.King? No?Good!Don't read it because you'll find out that this is not the end of Pennywise! And you know why???Because he doesn't die!!!!Mother f****r!!!!!!!!!!

  • hahaa. this movie is so fuckin corny. the book is waayyy better. i've read the book 8 times, and i still get a kick out of it every single time. the first time i read it, i was scared shitless though.

  • He dies at the end, when they stab him or some shit.

  • someone should really post the full movie... Haven't seen it in so long

  • I cant remember when was the last time I saw this film! I saw it when I was like 7 and it was fucking scary

  • I wasn't scared

  • I have only read the Shining. IT is the one im working on right now. So far it seems scarier than shit.

  • yeah, the movie had to cut a lot (fr obvious reasons), but was pretty good even though. & the clown's scenes were fucki ng amazing! pennywise is the SHIT!!!

  • Ive hated clowns ever since O.O this has been freaking me out as a child and soon if you hear a death of a clown...

    its me!

  • In the "killing sequences" you see nothing, is not like the book, more deaths and always gore so you suffer more, important fact in scary stories.

  • does anyone have the full movie plz? :(

  • ya its pretty good

  • "IT" is Derry.

  • isn't his name victor in the book?

  • there are a few bullies but for some reason tommy lee wallace used patrick hockstetter instead of Victor Criss so ya

  • Yeah, in the book Patrick was killed by like, flying-leech creatures.

  • Henry was pulled out of the sewers, Vic was decapitated when IT turned into Frankenstein, and then Belch tried to fight IT while Henry ran, and it like, half ate him or something. They never really tell you HOW Vic died, just that Henry ran and IT killed him.

  • ya and Vincent "Boogers" Taliendo, the other bully in the book saw something come up the sink, and it scared him shitless and he ran away b4 he was killed

  • i remember that.

  • best book ever

  • i totally agree. IT and Cujo are my two favorite books.

  • IT was the only Stephen King book I ever read. Right now I'm reading A PRayer For Owen MEany. Have you ever heard of it? The movie Simon Birch was based on that book.

  • no, I haven't. Is it good?

  • It is from Outer Space--what It refers to as the Macroverse. And this guy (Patrick Hockstetter) is played by Gabe Khouth

  • fuck georgi i miss you,

my soul always will be whith you

  • Dude I hated this movie when I was a kid! Its really funny now though.

  • So IT is a demon after all. Any being, be it a physical or spiritual entity in any dimention or realm other than it's native own is considered a Demon. In another dimention, you would be the Demon, in this one...IT is.

  • Definately a shapeshifter...or an illusionist. He definately has some illusionary powers, and some shapeshifting abilities as well if he can take a physical form like that. Its creepy.

  • who plays this kid?

  • henry doesnt get killed by frankentstine he gets institutionalised

  • MOVE IT !!!!
