the solo's all about the mood it creates. a slow solo wudnt fit the song. syn's solo is pretty easy to play, but it creates that eerie ominous tone, with the bents and dissonants so it fits the song amazingly.

Emotion on the part of the spectator is credited to the feeling that the performer puts in the music and the feeling that the composition itself holds. Someone who's been playing a guitar for two months and can't play for his life can still put 'feeling' into their playing and still suck at their actual technical prowess. Playing can sound 'beautiful' and still not be advanced.
