  • What track are you sampling in this?

  • You are awesome.

  • is it my mixer cause im sure i can scratch but what does my mixer need to be set on

  • Yo I know that scratching takes ALOT of practice but what did you do yourself to learn how to make the sounds like that? I have been trying to scratch for a month or so and can't really seem to grasp the concept of it as much as I would like to. Do you have any suggestions or tips on what you did to improve? The crossfader really confuses me as well like how people move it so quickly and when to cut the cue and what not.

  • @djjoshb Check out DJ Angelo's tutorials here on youtube. They are probably the best resource for beginning to scratch out there, he makes it incredibly straightforward.

  • @ElectronicIntervals Thanks for the tip mate, will do :)

  • Nice teddybear!

  • you scratchin in a snuggie?! haha dope!

  • I broke the perfection Muahahaha

  • I have a question; did you had any music propedia that helps u with what u do? Or u just boght the instrument and practicing your "scratching" skills.

  • who is the title of this sample???

  • what is this guy wearing it looks like a poncho

  • EPIC TEDDY BEAR IN BACKROUND!

  • The clothes your wearing make you look like a jedi ;)

  • haciii perfecttttt

Until the arrive at the store i have the opportunity to practice some on a pair of CDJ-1000mk3. I Look forward to get better in my newly found hobby. Please help with good scratching tracks thanks..

  • NIc3 bro and cool teddy keep em coming

  • Nieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee got to put mines to good use now

  • yeah man u got it!!!

  • Dude, you got major skills.

  • much respect. keep doing your thing!!!

  • You Rock BROTHAMAN!! you make that look so easy. Keep Jammin!!!

  • Very nice!! Read the post, but still have a question: Do the overlays on the Jogwheel effect the sensitivity?

  • No, because the sensitivity is purely controlled by weight. You could cover the surface with whatever you like so long as it's the same weight all around.

  • @qahtani Some nice scratches, I like the scratch compilation, is it one you put together or do you happen to have a track listing please? I prefer this type of scratching to a lot of the modern variations as I find them a little too tiring to the ear whereas the older styles flow better. That Pioneer looks like a great alternative to an analogue and seems very precise, however are there any benefits to it if I already have the Torq system? If you were going to buy one turntable which one? Thanks

  • It's awesome because the scratches are so clean and accurate.

    You must be very well-practiced.

  • great shit man!! can i get a copy of the samples or website if you have it. i have been looking for samples like that.

  • spettacolo....Bravissimo....great! can you send me the sample????

  • respect dudee(H) fucking awsome!!

  • Youre my hero(LOL) scratching like this with the 800's!!! !!! congrats man :)

  • either you are just that good or cdj's are easy to scratch with.

  • wow

  • nice bro very good

  • Aslam 3lykm

my brother haroon, i have listened to you work in your site, i like most of them however, there is no reserve addition can save your effort. in other word, how can i know this music is belong to you if some body post the link in his site. what i suggest is mix something attribute to name qahtani or haroon for example. this is an advise. hope all best for you.

  • Wa' Laikum Asalam Ibn 3mee,

Some of my mixes do have my name in them. As for the songs, well -- if anyone steals them I have the masters and they don't so I'm not real worried about proving who did what :)

  • u selled ur whole stanton equip right??

  • Love it! & wanna be able to do that, where can I grab them samples?

  • dude your dope. i want to invest in some cdj's and your video's help me out a lot by giving some nice info. do you think the c.314's are good enough to last a good usage?

  • no, dont waste money on budget decks...

  • did you ever try out the Denon cd decks, the s3500? And how long does it take to get used to the non moving platter on the pioneer?

  • THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY SICK! wow. A question: Compared to the sc314's you used on your previous video, these cdj800's seem to deliver a greater degree of control over the scratch, it seems a lot tighter, more precise. Am I wrong?

  • I feel like the platters on the c314s were actually a little more agile. The inner LCD on the 800s makes that trade off worthwhile though.

  • Just on average, how long did it take you to get this good?

  • I started mixing in '92 or so and quit in '98. I started again more than a year ago. A lot of it has been like riding a bike fortunately.

  • im getting the glotronics, cdjs feal well slidey, you reckon you could mail me those breaks?

  • do those slipmats help with the grip prblem

  • They do seem to help. That's one of the reasons I was eager to try them out.

  • Props Haroon. Amazing as usual.

Just out of curiosity did you happen to look at the Denon DN-S3500/DN-HS5500? I'm using the 5500 because I didn't want to loose the feel of the moving platter.

    cheers,

    sYn

  • I haven't had a chance to physically use the Denons. They look awesome in concept, but I heard some failure reports and wanted to steer clear of any potential problems, even if they are rare.

  • U FINIALLY PUT 1 UP,,DO THEY FEEL BETTER THAN THE C314's,,I SEE U DOIN THE DAMN THING MY DUDE

  • In some ways they do; in other ways not. I sort of explain it all in the description.

  • wow dood your so sick! i wish i could do that on my 1210 much less a cdj800

    RESPECT!

    djf REPRESENT

  • nice man!! real nice
