  • The problem is it's likely we would have been attacked by them even if we didn't have any bases around the world. Isla teaches all who do not call themselves muslim should die.

  • Chomsk is the man!

  • replace those boo's with bahhs

  • i love how santorum looked baffled when Ron spoke the truth...all those boo's. The Republicans in this video should stop calling themselves that and start referring to themselves in the correct terminology: Fascists...

  • @chickenppox To be honest, that almost makes me more sick than what's going on overseas. The lying, the callous disregard for human life, etc. etc.

  • America had three forms of government in its history, one where the power was held withing the people, the other where the power was concentrated withing central government and the third one which divided the power between the central government and the states. The first two failed which lead to our current government. However, today government is expanding and doing more than it is legally allowed and what it should do. What Paul is suggesting is restoring the government to its original place.

  • This is almost patronizing to Noams intellect, having to discuss with imbecills about the way of the enforcers with power. It is also absurd in its own since the American people (or any other people for that matter) want truth, they enjoy more the feeling of safety than that of awakening. Having Noam on the show strengthens that feeling, sine they know he's smarter than them and "they'd never understand anything of that anyway..."

  • @Basram doesn't want truth**

  • @Basram Wow thats very down to earth.

You totally dont seem like a stuck up douche

    Ron Paul>Noam

  • @jowbowcow

Paulbot please. You are being silly.

  • What 8 dumb mother fuckers disliked this? On accident? Or was the levelheadedness of everything of everything discussed here just TOO much?

  • History says this is just another evil empire on the verge of falling.

  • @RoonGang09 Wtf so the British Empire was evil?

I think ur just a left wing wacko that hates ANYONE in authority.

  • @jowbowcow Calm down I bet I got you out of your seat with my own comment which I'm free to put down on You Tube. But to answer your question, yes the British Empire was evil in more ways than good even though I dont know what you can call good coming from a empire unless a power hungry person.

  • @RoonGang09 *unless you're a power hungry person

  • @RoonGang09 And the British empire did a lot of positive things, they helped settle North America, and other places in the world! The industrial revolution, a lot of technological advancements came out of their empire.

I agree it was oppressive to people tho, thats why I support the US Constitution. The original without income tax and where Senators are appointed by the legislator. If the Senators are elected its just like having another House of Representatives, the founders didnt want this!

  • @jowbowcow Depends on what you mean by authority? If you're talking about authority within our own borders then I respect it if its not corrupt. But if you're talking about authority around the world, I'm totally against it.

  • @RoonGang09 The government in the USA is totally corrupt! They are stealing so much money from people its unreal, taking debt to finance banks, entitlement programs and yes to Bail out Unions!

That is why I support Ron Paul because he has not been corrupted by any special interests. He cares about the Constitution, and not some wacko interpretation of it, but how the Founders Intended it!

When it comes to law, the intent of the author is key!

  • @jowbowcow First I just want to say that the British have a hell of a lot more negatives than positives and I'm not going to go into detail because you should know everything I'm going to put down down.

The rest of what you put down I agree with. Sadly this country today doesn't come close to following the constitution and we have become something worse probably than what the British government was at the time. Ron Paul sadly is the only person in politics that speaks the truth.

  • @RoonGang09 British Empire*

  • @RoonGang09 If the federal government was the size it was intended to be state governments could do public healthcare, social security, or whatever they want BY THEIR CHOOSING. The power would be back into the hands of the states! You know in the constitution and the declaration of independence the US in never refereed too as a nation. States were just that states! Individual countries that came together as a republic for common defense and interstate trade.

B4 Woodrow the fed was very small

  • @jowbowcow I agree with you on everything you stated, but may think I'm insane in dimishing governments all together for the sake of mankind and go back to being associated with tribes. It worked with the natives before the Europeans came along.

  • @RoonGang09 diminishing*

  • @RoonGang09 Until another tribe, with bigger clubs, comes along and wants what YOUR tribe has...

  • @SusieQ962 Yeah, but that's small compared to world domination or destruction.

  • @RoonGang09 You talk about "tribes" but isnt that in essence a form of localized government. That meets the needs of the people closest to it!

How can a federal government composed of less than 500 people (representatives, senators and the president) decide whats best for 300,000,000 people?

    They cant!

Government needs to be local, otherwise it is similar to an empire, what you have been rallying against!

I'm willing to bet, minus India, the British Empire was less than 300,000,000!

  • @jowbowcow And I agree with you, but my last comment was based on one world government which is where things are heading right now compared to tribes taking over tribes.

  • @RoonGang09

Yeah, but surely you don't want to go back to how the natives lived when it comes to healthcare, life expectancy, and technology right? I also agree with the call for radical de-centralization being an libertarian socialist, however I don't think going back to being tribal(unless you're a sort of primitivist at heart)would be very enjoyable. Unless you're just using the word tribe to describe an industrial, and technologically advanced community.

  • @Pervyable We cant go back even if we wanted to with all the people we have on this earth now. I dont think living a really long life is always the best thing, I'd personally be happy just living to be in my 60's and can tell you the Natives sure as hell didn't have a problem with their way of life back then and they didn't care about technology either, that has sure destroyed us to some amount. I also didn't really mean we should go back to tribes, we were just better off.

  • @RoonGang09 the natives could also have gotten technology without being hunted to death, persecuted and outbread.

  • @RoonGang09 You might think thats an insane idea, to drastically diminish the size of the federal government. But I think borrowing $1 Trillion a year, the restriction of civil liberties and privacy, and how we interfere with other independent countries.

The US used to be unique in the world and now its becoming just like every other country. And the UN! has 0 authority over US sovereignty, they allowed the genocides in Rwanda and Bosnia, approved of many wars and stopped none!

    The UN is a joke

  • @RoonGang09 Question is whether "The Empire of the World" will come after it?

    WW1 aftermath "League of Nations"

    WW2 aftermath "United Nations"

WW3 aftermath "Global Corporate Totalitarianism" or they will call it "United Earth"

Let Freedom Ring & Let Truth Sing

  • @RoonGang09 Every empire in human history so far, has collapsed. Capitalism is only one form of it and will eventually fail. Hopefully just that.

Ultimately, after the collapse of the Roman Empire, it was 1000 years of decline of human society in a narrow form of church doctrine.

  • We're so... damn... STUPID.

  • Let's examine Mr Paul's and Mr Chomsky's statement with regards to the Iraqi sanctions. Both gentlemen state that the US sanctions were killing hundreds of thousands of civilians while many Iraqi businessmen were profiting from the Oil for food program and I will add that the sanctions also created a huge underclass. The Iraqi population alone could not have brought down the regime as was illustrated in the Intifada. France and Russia were benefiting from enormous oil contracts. What then???

  • Oh,lord! what are we gonna do when Mr.Chomsky will be long go? how many more analists that are brave, intelligent and so elocuent like him exist now? It will be a tragedy, real tragedy for the world to lose this human being.

  • @circlemaker my worries exactly!!!!!!!!! seriously big loss!

  • @circlemaker

We will have noone for the next 2 or 3 crisises.

We have to educate ourselfes and stand up for our and others rights . If not, the only ones to blame will be us.

  • @q1w2e3r467 I have already grow up. Now why don't read a science book or two. Don't trust in fantasies, sooner or later they will only disappoint you.

  • It becoming more and more apparent that the American people are the problem.

  • @BobMcCob The people aren't the problem. It's the people that pretend to represent them that are the problem, I think that's a safe bet.

  • It's really sad and shocking to hear Ron Paul booed for telling the truth. If you listen to what he says its really all just common sense stuff, no surprises and most 6-8 year old's would understand. It's hard to see who's more brain washed, the good people of North Korea or the good people North America (excluding Canada of course).

  • @88Barnesy Canada's just as fucked, we simply don't hold as much clout internationally, so less people notice.

  • @ryanshecklersbiceps besides the slight difference in accents I can usually tell Canadian's apart from American's straight away. Very different people. I don't think Canada's f*cked at all and if it wasn't soo cold, I would live there. Lots of my friends in UK immigrated there.

  • @88Barnesy Totally agree with you. I didn't know much about Ron Paul before this video but now, I'm very impressed to see an American politician with the guts to talk the truth, almost all the time you see politicians talking the same load of crap about WMD's, terrorism, and why we need to take action....

  • @ajefajef What sad democracy when the choices you have are just an illusion of choice. They're basically the same thing. All self interest for the corporations and banks etc. I'm sure the date to invade Iran was set as soon as they hanged Saddam. Now they just need to drum it into our heads that its an expectable thing to do, which judging by history is easily done.

  • @88Barnesy totally agree with you. history will repeat itself over and over again.

  • if the mainstream media really were as "liberal" as conservatives allege, Chomsky would be able to get on CNN & express his views there

  • BTW It's a brilliant strategy on OBL's part. The most pathetic thing is that we fell for it.

  • We've been played like a fiddle by and evil genius billionaire named Osama Bin Laden who's laughing in his watery grave. PS: I'm not so gullible to actually buy the story of how he got killed. There have been no photos, and everyone's story is different. It was also very politically expedient timing for the Marxist tyrant Obama. I actually think OBL is still alive and playing the stupid American people. Never overestimate the intelligence of the American people. I've made that mistake before.

  • @q1w2e3r467 I know what you mean. I was healthier, and wealthier when I believed in Santa Claus, but then I quit believing in Him and now He know longer brings me presents. What should I do?

  • The average Republic voter is old, out of touch, and mentally deficient. I really hope my generation does not end up like that someday, because as of now, we're Ron Paul's major supporters!

  • Love the look on Santorum's face at the end of the clip... what an idiot

  • Comment removed

  • Chomsky is an American Patriot...God Bless him....

  • @q1w2e3r467

if you talking about judeo christianity that the only one they beleive in read the old testament some time by the end you be worshiping satan also.

  • @NATIONALCOMMUNISM666 U know why commies/socialist don't like Christ

Because if someone has a foundation in their life they will not be swayed to trust in government but will trust in God first.

Take away the family, take away faith, and take away community pride (we're all citizens of the World right)

Once those things are gone people will have nothing to turn too and will turn to government. Change the culture then politics will follow after. Your hero Antonio Gramsci knew this!

  • @jowbowcow

what wrong with being citizen of the world you ego is getting in you way of understand the Truth that you been given by Promethius don't reject life A sA slave to jahova an his mindless minion is not A good existence.

  • LOL @ 1:30 Santorum's got some frothy on his upper lip. Man, that POS is one disgusting excuse for a human-being.

  • @EvenGodsDie oh sorry i misread it and assumed you said only attacking America probably because then your argument might have made sense. The EU forces assisting the US in the middle east also operate bases in those countries and the only reason terrorists wouldn't attack all of the countries with bases in the middle east is if their key goal was eradicating Western society in which case they might only target the most powerful western country. But as it is the bases are the likely motivation.

  • IDIOTS in the crowd. absolute idiots.

  • Ive read this book, its a fairly decent read.

  • What a bunch of children in the audience. "He is saying something we don't like! BOOOO!". Dumb cunts...

  • People don't like to see facts that discredit their ideology. Most of my.family and friends do not like to talk money and.politics, just have faith in your job and.your gov come home more your lawn and watch sports, shut up and ain't say a thing

  • @HillTribeman

that is so true, but it just boggles my mind how blind ppl can be...but I guess ignorance is bliss. baaah, baaah......it's exactly what keeps the systems going in the direction that it's going....

  • @riptide1111 Its because of fear, but thoughs who do nothing are just as evil.

  • @HillTribeman Same here, that's why democracy sucks ass, we need freedom for everyone, not just the "majority".

  • @HillTribeman Its not easy to ignore the sheeple.

  • Most Tea Party members/supporter do not have a very accurate picture of reality.

  • Yeah stupid sick fucks booing. What a disgrace fucking delusional pieces of shit. Much respect for Ron Paul for standing his ground.

  • Tell it like it is Dr. Paul. The ignorant people will find out the hard way!!

  • Ron Paul is so crazy.

  • @ju88ff he is crazy. but he is real. and not controlled by special interest.

  • @ju88ff He's just telling the truth..instead of pandering to voters by telling them whatever they want to hear.

  • Ron Paul might be a nutter - but in some specific cases like this at least he is EASILY the most likable candidate. I just can't fathom how the public can boo ideas about equality between nations and sovereign states. Either the U.S public have been pro-war propagandized even more than I thought possible, or there is some very disturbing imperialistic superiority-complex going on here. Either of these I would not want to accuse anyone of - but I can't see why else you would boo these things...

  • Its just as intellectually dishonest saying "they attack us because we are free", as it is saying "they attack us because we are over there". Both are just 'one liner rhetoric' that doesn't explain nor solve anything.

  • @123backinyerface Exactly. It is scary that "explanations" like this have actually been accepted by a majority of americans as factual. It is a terrible non-understanding dumbing down of reality that distorts your vision. It is equivalent to say the nazis did what they did just because they were evil. It is the thinking of a child or an idiot - and most importantly prevents you from discovering the real motivations so you can prevent similar disasters in the future.

  • @123backinyerface Yeah......., you are right except one is the truth and one is a big fat lie.

  • @angelzngods Sorry but to accept either as "truth", is just complete ignorance.

  • They pretty much booed once they heard "Palestinians."

  • Noam Chomsky is a brilliant man and a firm advocate for libertarian socialism. You Paul-worshipers should read one of his books some time.

  • @Frostbite864 Why do you find it necessary to refer to Ron Paul supporters as "worshipers"?

  • @Frostbite864 ironic isnt it?

one man is for "states-rights" and getting rid of government, and the other is the opposite.

    hah.

  • That booing implys the average american voter is a dumbass....

  • @1UPMidget correction. the average republican is a dumbass. that is at a republican debate. republicans (believe it or not) are in the minority in the US. thank god.

  • @1UPMidget its what you get from party-loyalists.

  • @1UPMidget CORRECTION: not all voters- I voted RON PAUL!!!!!!

but yes, many of the people who attend the party primaries on both sides are so blinded by party politics they no longer have the balls/brains/courage to question their party's position. Republicans used to be the party of NON-interventionism......what the hell happened?

  • @newstartforme1 they would use the same excuse to justify that as they had before and for a less secular reason it would be because they do not practice the same faith but what got them as the main starting reason was because a foreign power invaded and occupied what they call their holy land.

  • @newstartforme1

    Exactly!

All countries you listed have highly corrupt systems of state.

Somalia, by the most recent ranking, being at the top of the list by it's corruption index.

Fooling who? There's no mindset as corrupt as religious fundamentalism.

And while your leader drives in a white armor plated panzer benz or lives in opulence somewhere in Saudi Arabia you bomb abortion clinics in USA or buses in England...

  • Lets all boo the truth and shoot the messenger thats pretty fucking stupid ,and i am not even a Ron paul fanboy .

  • @newstartforme1

What excuse would justify Monsanto throwing poison on it's own in Vietnam and still existing today?

    Systematic corruption...

P.S. There were no "daily attacks on their own" until the tanks and the checkpoints

    came...

I can understand, even if I do not approve, a desperate suicide bomber who's family was killed in an airstrike.

On the other hand, I can't even understand an F16 pilot who dropped a laser guided bomb on someones family home...

  • it's funny that the tea party boos cold hard facts as if to disapprove of reality, possibly the dumbest people on the damn planet

  • @DoneWithDogma Booing what Ron Paul said was an absurd! I'm getting the strong sense that said tea party does live in it's own world.

America is going really wrong really really fast.

  • @DoneWithDogma

that was the "tea party" booing?

Ron Paul IS the tea party!

  • @St37One at the beginning of the tea party movement, i would have agreed with you. The current tea party is no longer a libertarian movement though, they have taken a complete 180 turn on social issues as people like Michelle Bachmann started leading the tea party polls.

  • @St37One no, Ron Paul WAS the tea party

  • @DoneWithDogma

    Possibly?

That is a fact in of itself.

  • @DoneWithDogma That's funny. The tea party supports Ron Paul. But obviously to attend the tea party debate you must have to be a tea partier.

  • @DoneWithDogma Right!! RP isn't stating anything that hasn't been studied and written about MANY times. Not too mention the common sense piece of it.

  • Dumbass people in the crowd!!

  • Ron Paul Has Bigger Balls Than Obama To Say These Facts In A Room Full Of Ignorant Americans.

    Abraham Lincoln Would Be Proud

  • @newstartforme1 london and russia did the same thing as the U.S. india has to major conflicting religious views one of those being the islamic faith. and i don't know enoguh about souh africa and madrid to say anything about them.

  • GOP= Smart people controlling dumb people. So misinformed they boo facts. hahaha

  • @MrStupidfag Exactly! They looked so ignorant!

  • the GOP are so fucking blind.

  • @TheTrueScource Along with their voters.

  • Now think about that 9/11 was an inside job and it has enough facts to prove it.

  • I hate to say it (myself being more left than the average person) but it feels nice to hear a politician come out and say bluntly that America will have hatred directed from other countries as long as it attempts to take on the role of world policeman and have bases scattered everywhere. Now, obviously we need some bases here and there, but to have "900 bases around the world" is bit extreme. The biggest shame is the people booing him though. Times like this make me doubt the average person.

  • I think it's fair to say that America's opinion on Muslims is very similar to Germany's views on Jews during its Nazi occupation.

  • America doesnt like the truth.

  • noam chomsky is getting older and more stupider. he's always quick to defend the filthy middle east. i can't believe this guy sparked my interest in politics in my early years.

  • @halflifeproductionz

    "Older and more stupider."

    "and more Stupider."

    "Stupider."

    You're adorable.

  • @halflifeproductionz As people get older, they lean more and more to the right.

  • @halflifeproductionz would it be fair to say that all americans are fat lazy welfare recipients and whom still live in their parents basements? no it wouldnt. so dont generalize you prick. secondly, you cant argue with facts, we helped saddam consolidate his power. if bush tried to consolidate his power and china helped him, people in america would be doing to china what the people in the middle east are doing to us now, and we'd be labeled as terrorists just like them

  • @EvenGodsDie Actually they bombed London and Madrid and keep attempting to bomb the UK

  • @lsynno No shit...that was my point. They attempted to bomb and have bombed a dozen other countries.

  • Ron Paul's comments were ridiculous. If what he said was true, Islamic terrorists wouldn't have been executing/planning terrorist attacks in countries all over the world. They are not ONLY attacking America...

  • @EvenGodsDie Bullshit. I won't vote for Ron Paul, but he said was exactly correct. They are attacking countries that are supporting America.

  • @halation777 No, it wasn't. Those countries don't support America. Those countries just don't appose America. Besides, what does that matter? They are not attacking them "because" they don't appose America. They are attacking those countries, because those countries are actively against what they stand for.

  • @EvenGodsDie no they are attacking nations that support the usa, i mean you really belive the bull they attack us as we're free crap? really?

  • @TheAlexagius Of course not, idiot. I never even suggested any such thing. You got that, from what I wrote? really? You are a fucking idiot.

  • @EvenGodsDie what about the attacks in london and madrid? are you fucking retarded?

  • @dnch No, I'm not. What would you like to know about those attacks?

  • WTF? People are booing cause Ron Paul suggested that the whole Muslim world isn't responsible for attacking the USA and perhaps if you don't want people to kill you, you might want to stop killing them? BOOOOOOOOO. WTF people WTF?!?!?!?

  • @SatiricalStewie We're fucked lol....

  • @hunden8404 yup

  • @SatiricalStewie Remember, this was the same setting in which Rick Perry received massive applause for boasting about how many people were executed in Texas. Yeah, shit's fucked up.

  • @SatiricalStewie Basically "fascist americans"

  • @SatiricalStewie Hey the GOP, God's party, booed him when he quoted Jesus and suggested that America should do unto to others as others would have done on to them. Republicans are hateful ass holes who like to parade christianity to justify their hatred but conveniently reject those parts which undercut it. Theyre pussies who only have the spine to speak their minds when in large numbers.

  • @TheMessianicManic The retarded look on Santorum's face makes me laugh. o3o "Derp, he say smart things. Me no believe him. It not fall on fear monger speak."

  • Gnome Chompski from Half Life/Leftt 4 Dead exists in real life!? .. Yes.... It all makes sense now.!

  • @jeddster Yeah, I guess you need a young pretty face to make the point

  • loved him in half life 2 episode 2

  • @n11lc2 lol

  • GOOGLE ZX42 IT TELLS YOU EVERYTHING

  • rofl, I feel for the man, it must be hard in life having a name like Noam

  • @whatwhatburb434 wow, so how do you feel for Mitt and Newt?

  • santorum google it santorum google it santorum google it he loves pancake batter in his bunghole

  • the Truth Hurts

  • Fuck, the look one Santorum's face at 1:41 makes me just want to smack him.

  • @TheMessianicManic More like kick it!

  • @TheMessianicManic two to the back of the head. problem solved.

  • @TheMessianicManic Santorum has the most shootable face of all the candidates

  • Rick Santorum is such a smug little turd, typical Catholic degenerate just like Carl Palladino

  • @DawnOfTheDead991 true, to bad the republican party is controlled by a bunch of evangelical puritan retards though, i bet Europe is happy that they ended up in America and didn't stay, look at the retarded mess them and their descendants became

  • @ucdeBZ They are such humorless dimwits, that is why the teabaggers love them so much

  • /watch?v=3B0Q109uQ7o

Noam isn't endorsing Paul here, guys.

  • the motive behind the killing of all those innocent people was.... u had a base on their "holyland" give me a fucking brake!!!! religion will be the end of us all...

  • This country is going to pay severely for its crimes against humanity.

  • @cunnidvd so many nations that have done worse have not

  • @TheAlexagius Check video titled "Noam Chomsky on most dangerous country" There are countries that have killed many of their own China and India, but no other nation comes close the millions killed in other countries by the US.

  • @cunnidvd killing your own is worse than others

  • @cunnidvd Nah, the corporations own every country... The U.S. can get away with the crimes, but not with the failed concepts of free market and capitalism. No country can survive the real life monopoly, no matter if they are invading others or just sitting behind their borders and slowly drown in debt. We really should start radically redesigning the economy right now, cause we can't start WW3 to stop inflation (unless we think that a nuclear winter is better than loosing money :D).

  • @cunnidvd

That's not a solution to anything.

But sole perpetuation of the chaos and the horrors...

Those responsible are the ones that should pay.

Indiscriminate revenge is a crime against humanity itself.

But so is letting the guilty get away when you have all the machinery to corner them...

  • @Orthodoxcrusader I haven't suggested any action or solution. Just stating the adage that what goes around comes around. When you hurt others you hurt yourself. You create enemies. You destroy your own integrity. Revenge is seldom if ever completely indiscriminate. There are no innocent parties. We assist allow and benefit from the crimes of the plutocracy. What machinery do you propose we have to corner "them"? Please do share if you have a solution. Don't keep it secret...

  • @cunni

    Couldn't agree more!

The machinery is you, the people.

The way to employ could preferably be pressuring the corrupt state and the judicial system.

It can be done by public demand or petition.

    If that fails, by protests.

If even that fails, then impose economic sanctions directly on the interests that corrupted the government and that shield the wrongdoers. Sanctions through boycott.

Assembly lines still need a human hand(a lot of hands) and the tanks and the IFVs need the crew.

  • Comment removed

  • @cunnidvd

Yes; the problem is in human nature....

But there's a significant difference how is that nature conditioned in USA or, say, Sweden.

Or the difference between united German state and the Nazi Germany...

  • @Orthodoxcrusader Keep up crusade. I'm with you.
