What I loved about route 66 was the way the Corvette always morphed into the current model from season to season!... (By the way, because of this series, I bought a brand new red Vette roadster in '66)
@azmike1 No kidding. I was really blown away by the aerial views of the town... before there was a town! Just Site Six. I don't think Hwy 95 had even been built yet from Route 66. The only way to the lake was by jeep trail or to fly in.

I'ved lived in Lake havasu for nearly 20 years. And i was only 7 when this episode aired. But wow! What a time warp trip!
