  • Pslam 149:3 Let them praise his name in the DANCE: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. KJV

  • This is a Mess. What makes you think God is enjoying everyone dancing around like its a big grand party. Church is for worship not getting down like were at the club across the street.

  • @SuperJamesIV Kindly check your Bible ~ Make a joyful noise unto the Lord; dance in the Spirit, etc. besides ~ where is the harm? There is no praise of promiscuity, alcohol, violence, nor hatred toward any human being. There is no bias ~ just feel the Spirit and be glad, rejoice in it. Spontaneity is indeed the most sincere form of worship. Continued blessings to YOUR heart's content.

  • @stparisian Thats old testament. The church was not established in the old testament. It was established after Christ died on the cross .We are now to live by the new testament. And no where there do you see there is any musical instruments in the church. Were instructed to sing. So kindly check your bible in Eph 5:19, Col 3:16, and Hebrews 2;12,13. You pointed out a good point when you said" YOUR" the church worship is not about us its about worshiping God. When we go into HIS house we sing.

  • @SuperJamesIV Should we remove anything from the word of God? God for bid! Even though we not under the bondage of the old Testament, were still to follow the Word of God, and by the way..... The Bible translate's it's self, it's not up to anyone's own idea or interpetation...... Sorry about the spelling error's, i'm only human!

  • @6767flockrd Guess we'll just have to see when Lord Comes back. Im done arguing.

  • @stparisian Thank you for sharing the references. Perhaps it is a difference in location and translation of the Bible; I was brought up in the Pentecostal faith in southern Ohio and West Virginia. Am certain that those of the Catholic, Methodist, Buddhist (etc) faiths have their own interpretations. Honestly, we're all trying to get to the same place but manage to get hung up on the specifics of how to get there.

  • ok. only because it was brought up am i asking this question. i know were to believe and follow the entire bible..i recently moved from the baptist faith to church of God. i was always taught that we worship according to the new testiment. however i know what i feel in the church of God is real...but where do we get the refrence for this kind of worship in the new testiment?

  • Give God all Praise and Glory, let the HOLY GHOST have his way.

  • I love this! Please put more on youtube. I'm hooked on it.

  • @riverpies123 Contact Preacher Steve or Moses McMillan on Facebook. I believe they're exactly what you're looking for. Be Blessed!

  • LOVE IT!!! LORD Bless You!! Praise the Lord from Fresno California :-)

  • The message of the gospel with holiness and pentecostal doctrine has transcended race, color, gender, culture and language. Whether one comes from Appalachia like I do (Tazewell, VA) or some big metropolis like Memphis, TN (where I now live), the influence of Pentecost is seen and felt worldwide. In fact Blacks and Whites firmly established Pentecostalism in the psyche and theology of the institutional church from the rural missions to international denominations.

  • this is rubish, might as well be a night club

  • Mountain Praise? Oh no! If you think this is just mountain style you've been in the moutains too long. Brother, this type has spontaneously erupted in praise services all over the world in different tongues. I'm an American Black woman and people are under the impression this evolved in the "black church" or from slavery (another presumption). God gets the highest praise in these moments when you can't explain when it happens in places never exposed to this music. God's moves by His spirit!

  • One spirt. One Lord. One Baptism. Jesus is Lord and God is no respector of persons. The Holy Ghost is colorless... Pure praise. Hallelujah!

  • The Church of God (based in Cleveland, TN) has a red hymnal that has amazing, anointed songs like this that I grew up on. Lots of hand-clapping, Jimmy Swaggart/ Jerry Lee Lewis style piano--THE BEST music, like in the Assembly of God church that Elvis was raised up in.

  • Amen..

  • i have heard this type of singing in almost every united pentecostal church that i have ever attended...in florida and in texas... but i think nowadays you wont hear this style except in small town churches although the pentecostal church (an independant one) i attended while living in houston., tx sings this way sometimes

  • LOL HHAAALLLEEELLUUYYAAHH!!! PRAISE THE LORD

  • This is the kind of church I knew as a little girl and have been looking for all my adult life..wish I could be their for one service

  • Does anyone have the words to the first song-speakin in another tongue??? Please print them on here.

  • I thought I knew that song but I couldn't remember the words to it.

  • @latabanza King David danced before God till his clothes fell off,his own wife laughed at him and she was punished, the prophet in the old bible said,''touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm

  • I can't see them up close, but isn't that the Stanleys, singing with them????

  • I have grown up as an apostolic pentecostal... and I haven't heard this style of music before sence the 70's or the 80's but i love it.... I live in Dallas but I love the mountain music!

  • I love Appalachian church music!!

  • Looks like a good service! Y'All oneness or Trinity? Where is this service at? I use to live in Knott county and there was a good Church in Hazzard! It was around the Glomar area of Perry County!

  • Unfortunately, I didn't grow up on these songs. We use to have alot of shoutin, etc in church but people have gotten TO relaxed in church.

  • OOOOHHHHHH YEEEEAAAAAA !!!!!

  • My 17 year old daughter just got the Holyghost. They were singing that song...What kind of man Jesus is... the night she got it. She has been looking for the words to that song again. When we heard it in this medley, we both got chills. Thank You for posting!!! I heard Bro Bates sing a little of it in one of his sermons. God is Great!!!

  • Now this is Church come on now Thank you Jesus for speaking in other tongues

  • @BlessGod077 amen, are you on face book,we have a good time on there, witnessing and testifying to goodness of God

  • I miss this kind of church and worship. Cannot find this in type of worship services in Arkansas. What a shame.

  • I grew up in a church like this. We were called "Isle Runners"...but that was a compliment to the congregation because we were known for having the spirit! My Uncle Reverend Raymond Price used to travel KY alot with his son Sonny doing tent revivals....brings back alot of memories....thank you for this video!

  • Amen!!!!!!!

  • I love this!!! These are the songs I grew up on.

  • I LOVE songs like this. Even though i'm am young and wasn't back when the saints of God was really on fire, but it seems like I love the old time way so much

  • My old black pentecostal church in rural alabama sings the same songs. ......Just amazing how this had to happen many years ago during segregation somehow.

  • i love pentecostal music,, i grew up in one in the mountains of eastern kentucky

  • WOW NICE!!

  • Oh Yes,,

I love it, this is old time Apostolic worship!Man I could just get up and shout all over the house listing to this...!!!!!

Thanks Pastor, I love your ministry, and your stand for Jesus name

  • Won't find a purer form of worship

  • I beg to differ.I was a member of a Pentecostal churches for many years and I can only say they're the most judgmental, gossiping hypocrites I've ever encountered. They run people away from the word instead of welcoming people in!Just because someone doesn't dress in the long dresses and the bee-hive doos of 19-forgotten doesn't mean they can't "possibly" be Christian.Clothes don't make the person anymore than rolling around on the floor foolishly screaming your lungs out. God is not DEAF.

  • Interesting you'd say that. I usually dress very casually when I go to church. I've seen hypocrites in all forms, not just in one place. I just choose not to hang out with judgemental, gossping hypocrites. After it's not me they have to answer to. And I've never seen anyone rolling on the floor screaming their lungs out to God. Even with Psalms 47:1 practiced.

  • I was reprimanded in front of the entire congregation about my wearing pants! (My ankles are disfigured from an accident and I prefer not to show them for the world to see and have to explain myself to strangers.) They did not welcome people into the church, but ran them off because of their attire, etc. Did Jesus ever turn someone away because of a silly attire issue? I've seen the rolling around on the floor- and it was so phony. I believe in miracles, yes, but not phonies.

  • Well I'm Pentecostal of Holiness and at my church I wear pants and so does everyone else...well some don't but most of us do. You are judging the whole pentecostal faith based on a group you dealt with. When I traveled with a choir we sometimes had to make sure we only wore dresses, that depended on the church we visited. I believe fundamental baptist and apostolics frown on dresses. But not all get upset over it.

  • Amen i agree i don't wear pants to church but some do and i wont say i never will because if it was cold enoug i might but it is no sin for a woman to wear pants if she wonts to just dress like a lady in modest apperal.

  • You keep on serving God people that love God don't try to bring shame to you and judge you. They were wrong to do you that way.I love the old time way but in the old testement men and women worn robes they were different in the way the robes look.I wear pants and i know i am a christian and no man or woman will make me think other wise. But i don't wear mans close because i am a woman and my husdand don't wear a womans close.

  • Honey you keep on serving God and let him take care of these judging people--I was raised Pentecostal and I still am Pentecostal--But no man is gonna judge what i do--only God can do that--The devil is out to let these people tear you down--You serve God and Pray for those that percecute you. Its God that should lay conviction on us on how to dress not man--We are to catch the fish and then clean them just as God catches the sinner and cleans them up--God Bless you

  • Thanks. We found a better church. We have members of all races and all are welcomed-the pastor nearly breaks his neck rushing down the aisle holding his hand out when he sees new people come in. He's always coming up with some way to invite people in and make them welcomed. They come, and they stay, like we did. The place is packed every Sunday. He said he didn't mind what women wore-pants or skirts, as long as we wore one or the other! This is the way it should be! LOL

  • That is good Meddetect--Never let man convict you let God he will tell us how to dress and act--Always serve him and plant the seeds of faith--Amen

  • Praise God! Thanks for posting and God Bless You.

  • I could just see my granmother either with a hot coal in her hand or a rattle snake in her hand shoutin all over the church and never hurt under the power God....My mY i was raised on this music we still sing theses today ,thank for for the move of God in our mountains, praise God

  • Praise the Lord!

  • The Lord aint Changed!

  • oh man!!! PRAISE GOD... for this.. I am music director at a pentecostal church now, and I grew up singing these songs. I got saved when they was singing like this, got the holy ghost when they was singing like this! And we still sing like this today in my church! Please could you add some more. WOW i have been blessed tongiht and about danced here in my living room. I think ill play it again and just praise the lord a littel bit! Y'all excuse me while i shout!!! post some more bro.
