  • Hey.I've got an epiphone les paul studio in ebony .. AWESOME GUITARE , seriously dont get fooled by the price or some stupid comments , great clean , great distortion , AWESOME HARMONICS. I play Metallica Lamb of god , Slayer , AC/DC , gun'nroses and.. ITS great for everything , as any 2000$ guitare , ( i use a boss mt2 pedal and a marshall mg15 ) my advice : if you are intermediate+ .. GET IT ! and btw , there's no difference in the sound between this and the standard..

  • I tought it was real looolz :) Incredibly awesome work and its worth the time it took

  • Wow... Thats just amazing! Pretty sick bro.

  • I was working on an Explorer, but after watching this i deleted it ._.

  • Daaaym! Thats great! :D Puts mine to shame :) You're a very talented person well done :)

  • I was confused at first when i saw the guitar's head stock (and reading "this is my guitar" in the description) I saw the wire frame model and though "wait did this guy model the guitar or was that the model it self?!" Looks amazing, keep it up!

  • Do you remember how long it took to do this?

  • @Orannnnis Few months, as I was making it with few weeks breakes.

  • great work, congrats my friend! : D

  • this is awesome.! could u please do a tutorial for this or upload some close up shots for a better view of edge flow . actually m trying to create it on 3ds max .but i didn't manage the edge flow like u ....please help me ..thank u.!!

  • for still image, try out a software called Hypershot! real great texture quality, simply import your built model into it and render.

for moving image, try out Hypershot :P

  • excellent model!

you could have used reflection cards to spice up the reflective black body.

  • holy fuck that is really cool 5/5

  • Totally deserving 5 Stars straight away

  • man that's sick.. how can you do that??

    Regards.

  • really good m8

  • i felt kinda dizzy after the first part

  • say your vray settings on this scene

  • @Ebanezzz

Sorry I lost this scene a while ago, when my HDD crashed. Dont remember the settings, but you can find some on the internet. Google it.

  • i thought you extruded a line for the big part but while its rotating in the edged faces status its clearly not a line . if im not mistaken its a Cylinder nice job .. :)

  • @MEMO042044

Ive used just faces to make this round shape of guitar body, then I copied the loop edge inside few times - that helped me make a little "hill" in the centre (body front is not flat).

  • oh my god...

I am now embarrassed at my one :P

Fuck it's so amazing and realistic...

  • lol u stilll need some skill to create 1 so if u created a guitar nice job :)

  • Heh, thanks man.

But you still have to admit... this guy could make a fortune with his skill.

  • Indeed :D

  • i have done a lot of autodesk inventor and i think that most of it looks fantastic while some things like the knobs and thewhole headstock rnt so great but overall a great job man!!!

  • Wow this is really good! I almost thought it was real! Nice job!

  • like the song :]

  • can u make a quick tutorial how to model a guitar...u know just a quick one..!! Thanks v.much

P.S Nice Work...One of the best i ever seen..!!

  • thats fantastic well done :)

  • 10 stars!!!!!!

  • Very good work!

  • really coool man!!

  • does any one knows where i can find a les paul supreme neck?

  • wow nice work man!

how'd you manage to space out the frets so well? i'm trying to make a bass and its the only thing thats got me stumped lol

  • Oh thats easy, Ive put image of the front of guitar as a viewport background, then I created one fret, copied it as many time as required and matched to this picture. I believe that is the easiest way. Hope, it will be helpfull.

  • i managed to work it out shortly after watching this vid, wasn't using a reference image and just working from my own bass :P

  • Yeah shure, any idea will do as long as it looks good. Send me a render when you finish it :)

  • i will do :)

so far not looking anywhere near as good as yours lol, but meh, i'm still learning ;)

  • No life.

  • Nice job! I modeled a bunch of guitars too!

    Cheers!

  • How did you model the strings? Are they renderable splines or are they just cylinders? I'm having a hard time modeling them!

  • I used renderable splines with bump map (to add little detail on them). It's easy to model them, as it is just straight line.

  • Please make a tutorial for us all,

  • Very nice work. about how many hours a day would you input into this project?

  • man, you're good, please make one tutorial for us

    tnks

  • what method did you use in making the body?

  • Everything was poly modelled.

  • Too real, haha, extremely good, by anychance your a good rigger, do you think you can make characters? (Master Chief)

  • bravo pour le 3D, il est excellent !!

J'aime aussi beucoup la guitare puisque c'est celle que je m'acheterai d'ici 3 mois!!

Yo a tous les "Epiphonistes" !!

  • Nice Work!

    What was you Poly Count?

  • how long did that take? ive tried to make guitars in 2D and its taken months

  • hey man this came out really nice!

really clean sub-d mesh. I'd like to see some more closeup views with edges on. Your lighting is killer too! I also loved the materials on the knobs. Are those 1 mesh or layered meshes with some materials.

    Excellent job man!

  • man, you're good, please make one tutorial for us

    tnks

  • ohhh myy gooodddd i dont think people realize how long this must've took you

  • Best 3d Guitar on youtube ! ! !

  • Very nice!

  • Thank you! :)

  • Hello! My name is Andrew and i liked your movie and i want to know how to learn 3D Studio Max..i have the program but it seems very hard...Photoshop is like a small kid.Maybe you'll find a way of helping me.Thanks!

  • There is lots of tutorials on the internet for 3ds, just type "3d studio max tutorial" in google.

First start from learning how to build a proper mesh for you models, watch how others are doing it.

    Good luck :)

  • Ready to pick up and play! Stunning!

  • is it real?? :S xD realy good work.

  • Great job, man!!! I just think it would be better with colors but you do what you want if you like it this way

  • omg

  • Thats really really good

  • real nice, what did u do to make the strings

  • It's just a line [create>shapes>line] with checked "enable in render" option. I add also a stripped bump map on it to look more realistic.

  • tanx man..... i just now finished my course in 3ds max.... iam having a big problem starting it..... but now i will try to make a plan and work it out..... tanx again

  • hey man really nice work........

iam planning to do a walkthrough project in 3ds max..... please give me some tips.... iam having problem starting the project

  • I think, first of all you should make a plan - decide how your project supose to look like and what exactly result you want to get. Make some concept arts/drawings of thing you want create (don't worry if you can't draw) - belive me it really helps :)

You should also watch some projects of other people. Especially, look closely how they compose polys on models.

I don't know how good you are in 3ds max, so I'm not sure are this tips gone be usefull for you :)
