I did read that today. I wouldn't go as far as saying winning it in 11...however we are making strides. They will probably trade Iwamura at the deadline, move Laroche over to second, and get Pedro Alvarez in at third. That would be my guess at this point but who knows. They are certainly improving, I never really liked Chavez anyways to be honest.
I'm heading down to the Pirates Brewers game right now. Pirates are one of the hottest teams in the MLB. A walk off win and an 8th inning homer to beat Philly twice, now that's something. I have a feeling that's the kind of thing we will be seeing more of in the future.
hopefully they stop trading and i kinda hope gorkys hernandez get's called up soon we will have the best outfield speed with lastings millage at RF Andrew McCutchen CF and Gorkys hernandez in LF and then we have padro Alveraz at 3d and hope fully brian bixlar at Ss delwyn young at 2D garrett jones and steven pirce back and forth at 1st base and doumit at catcher and our star pitcher hopefully will get called up soon Brad lincon
Hernandez should be good in the outfield with McCutchen and Milledge. Alveraz will be good, I really don't like Bixlar, I think Cedeno might be the choice. Young at 2nd is good if he makes sure he can field, I think we could rotate Garrett Jones and maybe Jeff Clement, hes hitting well in AAA. Doumit is a lock at catcher obviously. I think we got a few great pitchers as well. Alderson is another good one we should be able to rely on soon.
I think they are done trading. Now that we have the youngest baseball team in the league. Huntington doesn't really have an excuse to trade away players anymore. I think we got a lot of talent in the minors, will be a few years before we see if Huntington did a good job or blew it.

The Pirates will end the Ulgy Slamp of 17 straight Losing Seasons this year and make that playoffs and Jays will keep that lsoing streak going

I think they are done trading. Now that we have the youngest baseball team in the league. Huntington doesn't really have an excuse to trade away players anymore. I think we got a lot of talent in the minors, will be a few years before we see if Huntington did a good job or blew it.
