hi, thanks for this. had to watch it again. book fairs aren't always just about books :p i was at a book fair once in Santa Cruz (CA), went to pull a novel from shelf & the whole thing collapsed onto the floor! right there in front of me. talk about embarrasing. wasn't expecting *that* of all things. like dominos tumbling down. Tried to act like nothing happened and began whistling, looked the other way "ho hum". it didn't go over too well with 'security' who got mad & starting yelling ; )

I love Book Fairs. The one here in Miami is awesome, and an old friend of mine once did a reading of her collection of short stories. I just wanted to say hello after so many years, because we knew each other from childhood. I wasn't surprised at all how good a writer she had become, and it couldn't have happened to a better person.

Actually, it was a quiet event at first. They only brought out all the food and fun stuff when they found out you were coming. It's always a party wherever you go! (Maybe they could have put fortunes in the churros, like Chinese fortune cookies. Then you would have had something to read.) A fun video. Love your stuff, you lovely lady you!
