I'm thinking about getting one of these. Is it true that the ears require more care/cleaning than other dogs, because dirt and what not can stick inside those long ears? I've heard that about this race. Other things about this race?

I Had A Full Blooded Bassett that was brown white but she was tall for the average hound and always stayed skinny :) she was beautiful and the runt of her litter and gave us 6 baeutiful hound babys.

Brought a male last week, fall in love with as soon I get in the petshop! Also brought a female Golden Retriever, they are so funny. I name them Bonifácio and Phoebe. My sons are loving it! Both them have great personality.
