the musical score for this game  simply put, is stunning, its pushed the boundaries of how games are defined in the content of how they were percieved and judged. This game with its music and story took the game genre out from the bedrooms of kids and placed it firmly in the venue of modern entertainment that could sit confidently side by side with hollywood.

What sickens me is that before COD, not many people made fun of Halo. Then MW2 came out and everyone flamed Halo. I LOVE COD, don't get me wrong, but people don't need to hate the other contender just because they like one more. I like Halo more, but I don't flame COD. I don't see why we can't acknowledge that both are good games that have furthered the progression of the First-Person Shooter genre, like other games (Goldeneye, Half-Life 2, and DOOM).

@Gelatop What's really weird is you never see people flaming Goldeneye, Half Life or Doom (well maybe Half Life sometimes). The closest people get to making fun of them are mainly through parodies/fan videos. The progression of what people take for granted and what people have to to expect of games, especially long-running FPS series, is actually quite embarrassing in the current gaming generation, more-so than the SNES vs Megadrive/Genesis war ever was.

Its a combination of a rock, performance arts and symphony. This crowd is actually pretty calm compared to some other ones. But I understand what you mean so no hard feelings.
