How did Roberts and Smith not have a go? That would have been Titanic shit. Both of those guys went nuts when they dropped the gloves. And why didn't Hunter pair off with Brown? Seriously, Kyte was a has-been three times over by the time Calgary picked him up - ask Kocur. The Flames should have gone after Domi or Kocur.

Kyte got rocked, when down, then threw punches up at Brownie. Brownie was well within his right to defend himself, and finish the job. When Kyte got back on his skates Brown could have knocked his block off again, but he knew Jim was on queer street, and backed off. Nothing dirty about this. Just nasty.
Well one of Kyte's teammates should have jumped in sooner to help, too, even if meant coming off the bench. You can't see your teammate getting pounded like that and not do something to help

This isn't a KO. If you look closely just after Brown and Kyte go down, you can see Kyte throwing punches while on his back (hence the reason Brown kept hitting Kyte.)
