Hi Hawk - Ron Paul is not an isolationist. Rather he is against imperialism or empire building. I think people get these confused. He wants to trade, travel and talk to people. Ron Paul will never be president at this point because he's 72. He will be long gone and our problems will still exist. The "influentials" are able to influence because elected officials are afraid their opponent (whether real or potential) will be funded while they will not be, by corporate interests. I emailed the Fed NOT to lower the "Over Night " Lending rate back in 2007...they did it any and keep doing it The correction should have not been delayed. It has to be corrected anyway, once the dust is settling, then the Fed could have stepped in.
