I agree that this is scripted. Listening carefully to the arabic spoken (it's hard with the interpreter over it) but you definitely hear Cairene aspects to it, not so much Saidii or Bedouin. He uses "b-" before his verbs, and articulates his jiims as giims. It's very rare to hear those features in upper or western egypt.
This is NOT a Bedouin but somebody from Upper Egypt. By the way, in the Siwa oasis, in the Western Desert of Egypt, live Berber people.) This video is NOT true. We NOT drink tea because the sun is so hot on our head (??). This is NOT the way we make our tea. We, Bedouin, do NOT use paper to light our fire NOR use such a lot of black tea NOR overcook it like show in this movie. This is the way people from Upper Egypt make their tea....
WHAT! i randomly searched for a bedouin tea recipe and i stumbled upon this and funny enough we had tea with this guy in giza at that exact same location. his camel is called mickey mouse
He forgot to add marmaraya.

I drank bedouin tea in the sinai. It was by far the best drink I ever had.

As an Israeli I can attest that Beduin tea is one of the best.
It is very sweet and the beduin in the video is right - the wood's smoke gives it a very different and good taste.
As to the sanitation... well... it's the desert ;)
(at least he cleans it with boiled water!)
