@ozone624 Besides, Jack was born in Rapture, which was founded in 1948, 3 years after WWII ended. In fact, he's only two years old in the game. Fontaine genetically engineered him to grow rapidly until he reached adulthood. He couldn't have fought in the war because he didn't exist yet.

I once quicksaved, harvested one just to see the cutscene, then quickloaded again and saved her, but that's it. I like the bonuses you get for saving as well.

BioShock was made by Irrational studios, based in Massachusetts, not Australia. You're confusing BioShock with it's sequel, which was partially made in Australia.

Even so, the nationality of the creator has nothing to do with the nationality of the character.

The fact that they call it the "machine gun" is a misconception. The "machine gun" is actually a submachine gun, a M1928 Thompson to be precise.

But in the sequel, you got a .50 Caliber minigun, and you could pick up ammo for it from the dropped Thompsons! That got on my nerves.

.45 ACP isn't even close to .50 BMG.

A .45 ACP is 1.2 Inches from rim to tip.

You can Google image search the two for a visual comparison.

The numbers (.45 and .50) just indicate the thickness of the bullet, not any of the other dimensions like shape, weight or length.

Fontaine says that Tenenbaum made it through World War 2 while you're trying to undo his mental conditioning.

Jack was born in Rapture. Rapture was founded in 1948. World War II was over in 1945. You do the logic.

it's actually very interesting when you start digging around in bioshock 1 and 2 and you find all that went into making the big daddies. the big daddies and big sisters are my favorite characters in the series.

I find the big daddies very ominous and cool. But in the second one you take off your helmet and shoot yourself and the armor is supposed to be grafted the skin. One thing that always pisses me off for some reason is that a good way into the game like Arcadia or Fort Frolic, you find more wrenches on the ground. What the hell are they for? You can pick them up, but nothing happens. It's not like there is ammo for the wrench. If it is the first weapon you get, why did they put more of them in the game if it doesn't even use ammo?
