  • Is that a mixture of virgin and national express coaches at 1:22?

  • @mackat4ck

A mix of Ex-Virgin and 'one' Railways MK3s as well as a Anglia MK2 DBSO.

  • @pendolinofreek lol! No need to repaint them then?

  • what is the first train called

  • @5Oblivion Class 360

  • Never seen a Mark 2 DVT on a mark 3 set before.

  • Some nice footage at Haughley.

  • I'd say that the boat train and the sleeper service to scotland are the only loco hauled passenger trains left in regular service in the uk.

  • great vid

  • good video :)

  • Hi there I would like to find out which station you train filmed at the beginning of the feature the great eastern train clip is kool and great so well done

  • Peterborough, for the GBRf 66 2toneing;

Marks Tey at the beginning of the actual video of the 360

  • sweet openning credits

  • Brilliant! Loved it! Where did you get the BBC News music from? 5* stars bye the way!

  • iTunes

  • Cool, thanks!

  • other than level crossings is there a default hight between the wires and the track.

  • yes, the height is much lower at around 13 foot but is slightly lower under bridges, this helps to prevent any arcing between "PAN" and wire which isn't good for the Pantograph head (between 03:03 and 03:21 that is the height most place along this line)

  • why are the pantographs so high on the anglia trains

  • This is because of the height of the wires at Level crossings, you'll find every AC train's "PAN" is high at crossings

  • love it, love it, love it, love it, MSN aint working ATM so i'll just leave you a comment on here :P, Speak 2 ya later, Tell RB its a good vid aswell ;)

    Cheers

    SR

  • woohoo first comment 8] graaaaaaaaaaaaaate video m8! btw how recently was this filmed, noticed DSBOs and Virgin mk3 coaches, thought they were all replaced by DVTs now.

  • some clips on there are taken from today such as the pair of 37s and the Hybrid class170 (today being 1st August 2007) some of the clips featured are from 2006 which i have yet found a use for untill now, hope this help ;) and you are correct all the DBSOs are replaced by DVTs
