  • cool to see that most of us are seeing some storm action! we had severe thunderstorms move in eariler today with winds of 65mph and i also got my first 2009 CG lightning strike. Tonight Friday and expecially on Saturday possible severe weather. OH HELL YEAH!! about time the last storm chase was in November 2008.

  • Might have some severe tonight ... Thursday ... and again, Saturday. Svr storm season winding up!! Thanks for watching/commenting, StormPatrol!

  • Great capture! I seen a few cloud formations just like this yesterday myself! Also they did turn into mammatus. I have video to prove it. Mammatus clouds can form in many different types of cloud formations. So the clouds that you captured here is what I seen, just a few, but after these past, Mammatus clouds filled the sky.

  • Hi, Nathan! These were cool clouds (in a scary sort of way). Glad I could catch them! Thanks for watching/commenting! Hope you're doing well - recovered from the snow. =]
