it looks like a pinnapple grenade. Does it use a primer and cook like a regular frag or does it explode on impact? and how much does it cost and where can i get one?

Billy Mays here to answer you question. This grenade uses a primer, which cooks for about 7 seconds before it goes off. These used to retail in the $12 mark, and were available at our proshop in London, and online at out buypaintball website, but we haven't been able to get ahold of these for quite some time now. Keep checking though, we may get them back in.

Actually, the grenade explodes right as it's leaving my hand. It came as a huge surprise, thus the confusion. For a better example of this puppy going off, check out the other video on our page.

Almost! It explodes as soon as I let it go. Unlike real grenades, the timer starts as soon as you remove the pin, but the grenade will not go off untill the latch is released. Close call!

Yes, I agree, it is a bit of a bummer, but still the coolest paint grenade on the market. I'm sure they are going to fix that in future designs.

For all those concerned, there were no modifications made to the grenade before shooting the demo. In this video, I held the grenade too long, and it exploded as soon as it left my hand. Check out the other video and you'll see it explode in mid air. We fired off 5 or more, and every single one worked just great. Before posting your comments regarding these grenades, be sure the ones you used were not the Gen 1 (black) grenades, which did have a low success rate. Cheers!
