That's nowhere even close to the amount of air hitting your intercooler & intake, flowing around the engine, etc. in normal driving conditions. For example, if you have a 1 foot by 3 foot bumper opening and everything else is sealed, that alone will be over 11,000 CFM at 42 MPH. In actuality, you have many more avenues for air to get to the intake/IC.

My brother in law's evo is an 800 Hp car, with AMs tuning, and some other Strictly modified work done to it, and this whole year he got it to the track ,raced it and everytime after, was either getting it pulled home, or towed. First time, he busted the trans, second time, something with the engine, and the third the clutch blew out. All perf parts, yet all failed on him..

Sure I do. Besides my brother in law, my friend Keith went through 3 of these DSM's. Frist gen Talons, and Eclipses, and then an Evo. The talon, and the Eclipse both had modified transes, with Evo first gears, and all that crap. Yet no matter how much money these two bozos throw into their DSM's, they always break down. I'm sure you know all this already, unless of course, well - you don't drive an EVO or a DSM - or well, YOU just don't know what you are talking about. I'm sure the latter.
