@peacefulgal2007 I love reading about them too. I love watching TheTudors. It is not historically right but I like it. I made a presentation at school and I know nearly all the dates of marriage and death in Henry VIII 's family. <3
He always does a good job with these...but I have to wonder at some of the acting choices. Elizabeth looks closer to Mary in age than Edward here...which is a little strange.
Quite true. If the year was indeed 1544, Mary was 28, Elizabeth was only 11, and Edward was 7. The emotions are captured perfectly, however: the boyish confidence of Edward, the maternal judgmentalism of Mary, and the precociousness of Elizabeth.
Actually Queen Victoria did have an elder half-sister. Victoria's mother had been previously married to the Prince of Leiningen (he died). A daughter, Feodora was born of this union. The present kingof Sweden is a direct matrilinear descendant of Feodora.

I am the long distant niece of Queen victoria because on my grandpa's side she is my Aunt.

I'd be fascinated to hear HOW exactly.
Considering Victoria had no brothers & sisters.
