I got my evolution full upgraded kit dedicated .22 lr ar15 last week and am very pleased, a few feed problems which I put down to new mags but otherwise fine, i changed the polymer charging anti jam handle (which still had rounds jamming between the bolt and handle) to a .223 charging handle, when I did get the occasional jam, I simply pulled back the bolt face back with my finger and the jammed round fell out into the mag well , simple and instant,

Is this a separate piece from the conversion kit? A new conversion kit? Is it part of the magazine? Is it compatible with the old conversion kits? Are they for sale?

In order for it to work you need the drop in piece that fits over the magwell and under the bolt, the new spring for the magazine and a new follower for the magazine. $7.50 for the follower and spring (you need one for every mag you want to work like this) and then $20 for the bolt holder drop in part. Not a bad deal at all
Can you make the bolt lock further back like a AR?

Where did you get that bolt catch? That looks great. That is one of the reasons I have not bought a CMMG 22LR conversion kit.
