The demon worshipers are killers and stopping this means a ban on their income from CCP. and they still call themselves deprived of religious freedom. No religion preach taking life except the demon. We will never accept those demon worshipers into our mainstream society. I would rather die of hunger and thirst if the very two things i can get is from one of those demon worshipers.
Although Tibetan Buddhists know in their heart of hearts that they should not speak ill of others, even worse a High Lama, but many Shugden practitioners who have personally suffered because of Dalai Lama's ban have been very hurt - physically and psychologically so they often voice their anger at the Dalai Lama. I empathise with those who have suffered but call on them to please take refuge in the three jewels and let go of their pain and not create more negative karma for themselves.
Like come on, any real Tibetan Buddhist that knew even the most simplest of concepts as karma would never bad mouth those that can spread the Dharma far, example, his holiness, and all the high lamas that are saying enough is enough and moving to Shar Gaden to carry on their practice in peace. To stop a Lama capable of teaching surely is like killing a buddha.... heavy negative karma.

@nostra120 just to add to what you said, HHDL also said that DS is hindering Tibetan independence but actually HHDL himself has said (on videos on youtube!) that he is not seeking independence but autonomy. So that in itself is pretty contradictory!
The practice is an obstacle to non-sectarianism. The Dalai Lama is encouraging non-sectarianism in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
It was after the triple murder 1997 that the Dalai Lama began to speak more actively against Shugden. The murderers came from China/Tibet and they went back. They have Chinese protection now. Indian police has established a clear link between the murderers and the Shugden society in Delhi.

I don't think it's the fault of the lama, but the practitioners. Practice is a personal choice. You can lead a horse to the water, but you can't force them to drink.

It should be made clear that Shugen worship itself violates religious freedom, because Shugden does not allow followers to practice other schools than the "pure Gelug school". When you talk about the cause of suffering it is very clear that the need to protest was caused by the dalai lama's ban and his vilation of one's religious freedom not anything else. Although Tibetan Buddhists know in their heart of hearts that they should not speak ill of others, even worse a High Lama, but many Shugden practitioners who have personally suffered because of Dalai Lama's ban have been very hurt - physically and psychologically so they often voice their anger at the Dalai Lama. I empathise with those who have suffered but call on them to please take refuge in the three jewels and let go of their pain and not create more negative karma for themselves.

The practice is an obstacle to non-sectarianism. The Dalai Lama is encouraging non-sectarianism in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism.
It was after the triple murder 1997 that the Dalai Lama began to speak more actively against Shugden. The murderers came from China/Tibet and they went back. They have Chinese protection now. Indian police has established a clear link between the murderers and the Shugden society in Delhi.

The one-and-only "Shugden lama" teaches that HHDL is a "liar and a hypocrite"--then they say "don't attend HHDL's teachings," then finally they make up a story about how "Shugden practitioners are banned from HHDL's teachings."

It should be made clear that Shugen worship itself violates religious freedom, because Shugden does not allow followers to practice other schools than the "pure Gelug school". Those who practice other schools "mix the pure doctrine" and will be killed for that "crime" by the deity Dorje Shugden, or they will at least be punished by a terrible sickness and finally die a horrible death.

The Dorje Shugden Controversy is really not anything that non-Tibetans and non-Buddhists should get involved with.
The "ban" refers to an act by the DL in 1996. It involves an important metaphysical distinction; but not important to non-Buddhists since you're not listening well enough to make any kind of opinion; if you'd been you'd be Buddhist, see?
A leader cannot simply deflect all unpleasant controversy.
As national leaders go, the DL is certainly no liar.

If HH is prosecuting those practicing DS - then why won't he ban those practicing in Gaden and Sera Monasteries. HH just suggests not to practice DS for good reason. OMG. How many children in the West have religeous freedom? None! When they are 4 or 5 years old, their parents force them to get up on Sunday morning and go to their parents' churches. Do these kids have the freedom to choose what religion they want to follow? Or do they have the freedom to NOT believe any religeon? Have you noticed that most Dorje Shugdens are westerners and don't look too smart? Probably persons who reach the status of monk easily in Dorje Shugden Society instead of having to study for years and years in the real Buddhist teachings.

It is very interesting to see while exile Zang are yelling China govt is not allow religion freedom, but Dalai Center banned Dorje Shugden. They found a lot of excuses to ban Dorje Shugden.
In China, Tibetan practices Dorje Shugden freely. If China govt allow these exile Zang enter China, Tibetan culture will be destroyed.

HHDL has not banned Shugden practice. He even said two weeks ago that's it's just fine if people want to practice Shugden. Just that he doesn't want to and advises against it. No ban, no religious rights are being broken. Get your facts right!

Religious harmony comes from let go Shugden practice. It is a practice which is feared by Kagyuepas and Nyingmas. If Gelugpas love sentient beings they can let go Shugden practice. Why practising something which is feared,, and the rooted in murderer, fundamentalism, schism and quarrel? Shugden kills even those of the own sect if they'mix' teachings. Not to think about the three killed Shugden opponents. Very funny. Although Shugdenpas claim it is a religious practice it is a political practice.

I strongly disagree. When you talk about the cause of suffering it is very clear that the need to protest was caused by the dalai lama's ban and his vilation of one's religious freedom not anything else. It is this ban that is the cause of strained relationships not anything else. Where can there be inner peace when one's beleif and faith is attacked so relentlessly. Just the assumption that if the dalai lama said so it must be the truth goes against the fundamentals of buddhisim.

Why do Shugden followers not protest for those three monks killed by fanatical Shugden followers? What is wrong to put restrictions on a violent practice? The majority doesn't like the horrible Shugden, who is famous for his power to kill even members of the own sect, when they use other tradition's scriptures. Shugden is oppressing religious freedom, not HHDL. However you have freedom of practice. No problem.

HHDL has not banned Shugden. Listen to his talks - there is no ban! His Holiness said two weeks ago that it's fine to practice Shugden, no problem.
