The ref. I made I if you recal was more than ONE ISSUE. If you actually check your facts/history you'll see the Hulk's strength IS NOT limitless. He's had his but handed to him by a few people. The ref I gave you are the most recent and are in conjuntion with his 60yrs of reading.
If you're comparing current comics to the older generation of Hulk comics, then that might be the case. *cough* Thunderbolt Red Hulk *cough*
But as far as I know, Hulk is virtually indestructible throughout his comic career, only dying like once but being brought back in the same issue.

Well said plus it doesnt matter how much damage you do to the hulk since he can regenerate back even from a cell.Wolverine was shown to regenerate from bare bones and Hulks regeneration is much faster.
The thing about Supes is even if he is holding back, Hulk doesn't ever reach full potential. He gets stronger the more he fights because he further gets angered. Most of the time to deal with Hulk you have to tame him or Bruce has to try to get a grip on himself. Hulk almost always can hardly be ever taken down.

If Hulk fought Doomsday, the planet they fought on would be totally destroyed. Neither have a limit to their power. Both can regenerate, both can infinitely increase in strength. The only thing Doomsday can do the Hulk can't is survive the vacuum of space. Hulk still needs to breathe. Without oxygen he'll die.
Yeah but he can't hold it forever. sooner or later he'd have to exhale. Unless he's heading for an oxygen rich atmosphere, it would only be a matter of time. A REALLY long time, but a matter of time none the less. His human dependency on oxygen has been used to stop him before. S.H.I.E.L.D. learned that you can reduce him to bone and he'll regenerate. Fill the room he's in with sleeping gas and you can knock him out.

You know, I've always wondered what a fight between the Hulk and Doomsday would be like. I just wish that someone would actually try to make that crossover and show it for all to see. My money would be on the hulk though.

Also supermans body has been inside the core of the sun and he has withstood this, Hulk hasn't been past the inner layer of the sun (he was only able to withstand inner solar temperatures).
Supermans heat vision is sufficient to cut his own skin. Since Superman is demonstrably less vulnerable to heat than hulk, yes his heat vision would have an effect.
It's also been able to lobotomise doomsday who is on a similar level of invulnerability.
If superman constantly stays airborne and is many times faster than hulk has _EVER_ been I fail to see how flight could have "no effect". Hulk jumps to where supes was, superman has a relative ETERNITY to simply move 4 meteres to the right. Hulk can only travel on a balistic course so there's no way he can maneover mid jump.
Also as previously stated, Supermans heat vision is as hot as inner solar temperatures. Hulk has struggled with these termperatutes before.
All these feats have been accomplished by a RESTRAINED superman. Unrestrained he's on a whole new level.

Also given his speed, if superman flies how on earth could hulk even hope to land a hit considering hulk can travel nowhere near as fast and must follow a ballistic trajectory (jumping).
Hulk can withstand outer solar temparatures with great difficulty as has been seen before. Supermans heat vision is this hot.
Ice breath isn't the issue (although how hulk would fare against breath so cold it can blow out stars is debatable) it's not just ICE it's far below sub zero breath able to freeze air within seconds and at times blow out stars.
Superman is the second fastest person in DC (only just behind the flash) and can travel far faster than quicksilver who can barely surpass....

Superman can naturally bench press planets, he doesn't need to power up or get mad. Unless you've got magic or kryptonite - it's never going to be easy to best superman in an all out brawl, especially considering even when he's stripped of all powers he is an absolute master combatant trained by three of the best combatants in the universe.
If we're talking about how canonical crossovers are do we care to consider that superman has one hit KO'ed the silver surfer? Superman is more on thors playing field and thor has bested the hulk SEVERAL times. I'm not saying it would be cut and dry but I think you don't know enough about exactly how powerful supes is to comment.
Supermans breath has blown out stars, his heat visiion is hotter than the sun and he is able to travel at great speeds, this on top of his stupid amounts of invulnerability and flight means that superman would have to actively ignore half his powers to even be hit by hulk. Hulk can jump but flight>jumping. Hulk has the capacity to be stronger than superman but it means nothing if he can't land a hit. Superman would have to fight very stupid to be owned by hulk to be honest.

Is Hulk immortal? Nope also superman can move MANY TIMES faster than hulk has ever shown the ability to. Can fly which is superior to simply be able to follow a jumping pattern and that's not even counting the fact superman has blown out stars with his breath and if it required (which it wouldn't) he can just launch himself into the heart of the sun and become far stronger or just casually hurl hulk in there. Hulk is immensely powerful but the range of supermans powers give him advantage.

@uvsk420 well, even further back, supes went back in time, moved galaxies, etc. He has been way powered down since then. He neither that fast nor strong. I dont know about the comics, but if you look at the tv-series, you would see that flash is way faster.

Superman and hulk have arguebly similar strength levels, have withstood similar attacks and have healed from similar wounds. However superman is many times faster, more agile, more meanouvarable (flight) and his heat vision that is hotter than the sun which he could casually shoot from air. That and the fact superman CANNOT die while on earth. While under the radiation of a yellow sun he will always heal and revive. Ditto for doomsday infact. Hulks fucked on both counters by immortality.

The thing about Supes is even if he is holding back, Hulk doesn't ever reach full potential. He gets stronger the more he fights because he further gets angered. Most of the time to deal with Hulk you have to tame him or Bruce has to try to get a grip on himself. Hulk almost always can hardly be ever taken down.

i agree with you he sucks. what point making a charecter that cant lose. you want charecter who are basiclly equal in fights or some slightly stronger not to much because it makes the fights more equal and fun. so it less likely to know who gonna win and gives you more of a fight. so yer hulk sucks

If Hulk fought Doomsday, the planet they fought on would be totally destroyed. Neither have a limit to their power. Both can regenerate, both can infinitely increase in strength. The only thing Doomsday can do the Hulk can't is survive the vacuum of space. Hulk still needs to breathe. Without oxygen he'll die.

Yeah but he can't hold it forever. sooner or later he'd have to exhale. Unless he's heading for an oxygen rich atmosphere, it would only be a matter of time. A REALLY long time, but a matter of time none the less. His human dependency on oxygen has been used to stop him before. S.H.I.E.L.D. learned that you can reduce him to bone and he'll regenerate. Fill the room he's in with sleeping gas and you can knock him out.

Also supermans body has been inside the core of the sun and he has withstood this, Hulk hasn't been past the inner layer of the sun (he was only able to withstand inner solar temperatures).
Supermans heat vision is sufficient to cut his own skin. Since Superman is demonstrably less vulnerable to heat than hulk, yes his heat vision would have an effect.
It's also been able to lobotomise doomsday who is on a similar level of invulnerability.

If superman constantly stays airborne and is many times faster than hulk has _EVER_ been I fail to see how flight could have "no effect". Hulk jumps to where supes was, superman has a relative ETERNITY to simply move 4 meteres to the right. Hulk can only travel on a balistic course so there's no way he can maneover mid jump.
Also as previously stated, Supermans heat vision is as hot as inner solar temperatures. Hulk has struggled with these termperatutes before.

All these feats have been accomplished by a RESTRAINED superman. Unrestrained he's on a whole new level.
The main reason that this exists is because Superman was massively depowered 20 years ago roughly but since then has approached his golden age power levels.
Also DC are far worse than Marvel for plot induced stupidity to cater for supermans "weaker" foes.
This isn't even taking into account his intellect, and the massive inventory of weapons in the fortress of solitude.

Mach 2. Superman is several hundred times faster than quicksilver. So yes his speed would have a MAJOR effect in the battle. Hulk has caught sentry quicksilver and thor. None of which posses anywhere apporaching the speed of superman.
Also given his speed, if superman flies how on earth could hulk even hope to land a hit considering hulk can travel nowhere near as fast and must follow a ballistic trajectory (jumping).

Hulk can withstand outer solar temparatures with great difficulty as has been seen before. Supermans heat vision is this hot.
Ice breath isn't the issue (although how hulk would fare against breath so cold it can blow out stars is debatable) it's not just ICE it's far below sub zero breath able to freeze air within seconds and at times blow out stars.
Superman is the second fastest person in DC (only just behind the flash) and can travel far faster than quicksilver who can barely surpass....

hulk beat supes in non voted fight while supes only beat hulk in a fanvoted fight hulk has also ripped holes in time with his punches lifted 150 billions pounds in his calm state n done alot of other things heat vision, ice breathe, and even supes speed, wont affect hulk in any way at all

haw fast could hulk be if he gets as mad as he can? he would still be slower than sound, and Superman is 18x speed of light. hulk shouldn't be able to hit superman. Before he gets angry hulk is class 100, witch is joke for superman. and superman can fly, he could BFR hulk into space, or simply stay in the air and destroy him with heat vision.

To show the power of superman, please wiki or google "Superboy-Prime". THAT is Kal-El's potential, but on earth he holds back so as not to hurt anyone and is always in absolute control. A weaker clone of Superman could only be taken down by ALMOST ALL OF THE MOST POWERFUL DC HEROES OF _THREE_ UNIVERSES. Half of which died. He has the strength to punch through the walls of reality. Superman can naturally bench press planets, he doesn't need to power up or get mad. Unless you've got magic or kryptonite - it's never going to be easy to best superman in an all out brawl, especially considering even when he's stripped of all powers he is an absolute master combatant trained by three of the best combatants in the universe.

If we're talking about how canonical crossovers are do we care to consider that superman has one hit KO'ed the silver surfer? Superman is more on thors playing field and thor has bested the hulk SEVERAL times. Supermans breath has blown out stars, his heat visiion is hotter than the sun and he is able to travel at great speeds, this on top of his stupid amounts of invulnerability and flight means that superman would have to actively ignore half his powers to even be hit by hulk. Hulk can jump but flight>jumping. Hulk has the capacity to be stronger than superman but it means nothing if he can't land a hit. Superman would have to fight very stupid to be owned by hulk to be honest.

That and they have faced each other in the comics and hulk lost on both occasions :( It's like the constant "Superman vs Batman" arguement. The breadth of supermans powers put him well above most other heroes, including hulk.

Is Hulk immortal? Nope also superman can move MANY TIMES faster than hulk has ever shown the ability to. Can fly which is superior to simply be able to follow a jumping pattern and that's not even counting the fact superman has blown out stars with his breath and if it required (which it wouldn't) he can just launch himself into the heart of the sun and become far stronger or just casually hurl hulk in there. Hulk is immensely powerful but the range of supermans powers give him advantage.

99 fight supes won due to fan-votes, that doesn't count, hulk would win because most if not all of superman's abilites have little to no affect on hulk, heat vision, ice breathe ect, doesn't effect him, the speed is not an issue, hulk has battled and won against speedstres before inlcuding quicksilver, ive never seen superman keep up with flash although i do agree flash is faster than quicksilver by a lot, if that lat part is true it proves what a boring and uninteresting character superman is

if you read flash rebirth then you would know that the flash allowed him to keep up.and yes flash is faster than quiksilver but quiksilver is still faster than supes
and the reason why supes won that fight was because it was fan voted. or else the madder the hulk gets, the uglier supes would get.

sorry man but quicksilver is no where near supes speed, and i do know supes cant beat flash in any race, dont have to read rebirth to know that, he raced barry and wally lost both times, if supes doesn't hold back at start of fight then it goes to supes and in other comics supes won. read the whole issue of their first fight the one in late 70's or early 80's i forget when it came out

@uvsk420 well, even further back, supes went back in time, moved galaxies, etc. He has been way powered down since then. He neither that fast nor strong. I dont know about the comics, but if you look at the tv-series, you would see that flash is way faster.

@uvsk420 You know that supes has got powered down? In the 50's supes were able to move so fast, that he could travel in time. And he was so strong, that he could move galaxies. In some of the cartoons from 90's and 20's, supes even have problems with darkseid's lakeis.

Superman and hulk have arguebly similar strength levels, have withstood similar attacks and have healed from similar wounds. However superman is many times faster, more agile, more meanouvarable (flight) and his heat vision that is hotter than the sun which he could casually shoot from air. That and the fact superman CANNOT die while on earth. While under the radiation of a yellow sun he will always heal and revive. Ditto for doomsday infact. Hulks fucked on both counters by immortality.

incredible "trailer" i mean it. you fitted the different animations together so greatley! and the end! marvelous! just... marvelous XD if i hadent seen all of the episodes of the different shows/movies I wouldent have known the difference. the trailer made sense, when some others have just been a bunch of klips from animations that have the hulk, but this looked as if it actually had a story behind it! i realy liked it ^^
