"Some Bossa Nova version of some metal song" could be a great idea, but what makes us like the Bossa Novas is the chords that are used in this style, I must find a metal song that can be played in a bossa Nova style. Hi !I wanna tell you something ; there's no real gift to play music, the gift is that you learn more quickly than the others, but the thing to do or to have isn't a gift, but work. My Father, who was, like my Mother, teachers in conservatories, had always told me that "what a human can do, another human can do it too, it depends if he works" ! I know someone that had started to play Piano at 55 y.o., and he's now, after 4 years, playing with friends.Take a guitar & try, you'll see if it's easy!

I go on what I was saying, luizcarlosjosetti ; it's onhly the fact that you work that will make of you a good or a bad musician.I've played with a guy that was playing well, but after some months, he thought not having to work on those songs cause he knew them. I've told him that I won't play any solo if he's playing like that. Hi ! I completly agree with you, "It's only Rock'n'Roll" is one of the best Stones' album. And this song is one of my top 5 of the Rolling Stones (if we can say that, cause they had performed so many greats songs), but this song, I used to play it just by ears, and after having played it many, many times, I've found the reals chords & lyrics. this is one of my all time favorite Rolling Stones songs. a beautiful piece with lovely chord changes. On the record Mick Taylor plays one of the best solos ever recorded in rock n' roll. very nice job. that is a nice guitar with good clean sound too. nice little solo there.
