in the strumming pattern you keep strumming down, do it in the way hes doing it. very simple.

kayleyjay- it's all downstroke pattern throughout the song. You don't really want to strum but use a light palm muting and pick down on the strings.

Im glad you like and good luck with your new guitar:) There are lots of videos and tutorials on youtube if your learning the basics, but it takes time. Dont be fooled by "how to play guitar in one week" stuff. There's alot of great videos and players here and they practice ... alot, to get to that skill. Guitar is easy to learn but hard to master but the possibilities are endless. cheers,

Thank you Elvyeena- its my first video and I though I would put up an easy fun tune. I play the song this way with my band and it makes it simple as there is not alot of moving all over the neck which slows you down. I try to use that approach when playing as long as it sounds good.
