Doctor Who isn't likely to be cancelled at any time in the near future since it's one of the highest rated tv shows in England. The Stargate series were cancelled but so was Doctor Who once, along with Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. Science fiction universes never end. They just occassionally have to go away for a while until enough people who want to live in them grow into marketable demographic blocks able to support their recontruction.

Stargate Command defeated the Ori who had an even higher tech level than the Daleks since the Daleks couldn't raise the dead, and let's note the Timelords probably are an alternate timeline version of the Ancients who created a lot of Stargate Command's technology including puddle jumpers capable of time travel. Also the Doctor had counterparts among the Ascended Ancients who helped SGC the same way the Doctor helps Torchwood. In any case Earth has to win because we pay the tv script writers.

Cool as that was, you know there there is no concievable way anything in Stargate could stand up to the Dalek Fleet, Especially not anything Human (even with Asgard Weaponry). I'm sorry, but the Daleks nearly won a war with the Timelords, a god-like race of time travellers. Missiles wouldn't even dent the hull of a small Dalek Cruiser.

i just started stargate and am on season 10 of sg1/season 3 of atlantis but i saw all of dr who 1st and loved it but now the dalek seem so must less threatening than the stargate bad guys

@jnadreth Oh totally apart from being the most Evil and hell bent flying dustbins of the Whoniverse when brought into the stargate universe they still might be the most hate filled race but they'd so get pwn by the replicators, ancients, asgard, tau'ri. The Goa'uld and Wraith would be raped though to some degree. hmmm I wonder is it possible to have a mutated Wraith-Goa'uld Dalek? o.0
