I love Denver been there many times , in term of hard core ghetto , it does not exist in Denver , sure there are some " bad neighborhoods " but that is relative , compared to most major US cities , the " ghettos of Denver " are a cakewalk and nice looking

dayobrien Davies Chuck Wagon is my favorite restaurant in the whole world. The country fried steak is to die for :) And im pretty sure it came over from New Jersey. Honestly, there are some sketchy places on Colfax but up by Colorado Mills its more of a nicer area. And i recognized every spot in that video.

You forgot Davies' ChuckWagon Diner on the West End. It is one of the few remaining ,brought in by rail car -dinersin the USA. Cheap eats, same waitresses been there forever. Last I knew they were trying to get it designated as a "historic" relic of the boom-times of the 40'5 and 50's.
I live on Peoria and Colfax well 17th but 1 block away and it's not that bad, it can be but I grew up in this area and it's a lot better now than when I was a kid. They really are cleaning it up and though you will see pimps and ho's and hustlers most of them try and keep it in the neighborhoods now. It's worse around Chester and 17th, I've seen some things on that street! All in all I like the Video on "ColdFacts".
There are so many more dangerous and dirty streets than Colfax in America but I often wonder why we don't clean it up, especially Capitol Hill. One good business will spawn another. Cmon.........
@suffion I have to agree with you! I've been all over the US and lived in Denver for 4 years. By far, it's a walk in the park compared to "The Bronx" or some ghetto in Los Angeles...
notice that Colfax is actually Hiway 40 and goes way farther east than Strasburg and byers, even in Aurora you can find the signs calling it hiway 40 and I'm from the Strasburg and Byers area, I know for sure that Old 40 as we called it runs way out past a little toswn called Agate.
meanest street in america huh lol people need to travel more i can think of more than a hundred meaner streets than colax denver rules compare the street life here to dc baltimore detroit la its like disney land here sure you got crackheads and all that shit but compared to most other places its pretty dam nice and laid back here walk all of colfax then walk 2 blocks in southeast dc tell me whats worse CANT BEAT DENVER ITS THE MOST LAID BACK PLACE YOU CAN LIVE YOU ONLY FIND TROUBLE IF UR LOOKIN
