  • This is so SpongeBob worthy,....

  • In the 60s and very early 70s my folks would occassionally jazz up summer evenings by playing some 45s and dancing. Neighbors would hear, bring food and more 45s and we'd have a party. People would call friends and a couple of times the party spilled onto the street, becoming a "block" event. Great fun, great times I had as a child watching and listening. Thanks for posting—it's good to revisit the days when physiques and hair & clothing styles were so attractive.

  • Wow that is the pool at the Flamingo!!!

  • Wheres Elvis ?

  • I DANCED LIKE THAT AFTER EATING HOT MEXICAN FOOD....I HAD TO GO ALLLL NIGHT!

  • That's right, no muscle tone, no worries about second helpings, and let's all eat red meat and have a nice smoke afterwards....Vietnam was still winnable and these women were outta control sexy!

  • I love how none of the girls get their hair wet at any point in the video...

  • @ 1:50 I meant

  • @ 1:54 the trumpet player gets a bit distracted!

  • Awesome! Wish there places that still had go-go dancing now ....

  • Scary!

  • that is one ugly woman

  • What's the name of this dance style? Go-go?

  • @AdelOfAutumn This is just how people danced in the early 60's. GoGo dancing came out a few years later.

  • @AdelOfAutumn The singer is naming the dances. The Twist, The Swim, The Jerk, The Giddy Up, The Monkey, etc!

  • @Margoil Can't believe I missed that! thank you!

  • That brunette is the Bomb!

  • Watching that beehive girl do the monkey blows my mind.

  • WOW, the brunette really knows how to move.

They are all doing ok, but she REALLY knows how to work it !

  • yeah,babycat SHAKE IT !

  • I love how no one had any muscle tone back in the 60's. Gyms were just for boxing kangaroos and weird vibrating belts.

  • @25Lode No,it was more that people looked that way,and even people who worked out didn't bulk up so much they could hardly move.I guess it was a lack of steroids in common use,and none of those insane super bulking protein diets. It was ok to look normal instead of like some kind of cartoon character.

  • @25Lode They got all kinds of muscle tone. It's just all covered up with unaltered womanhood. :)

  • @25Lode No, there's all kinds of muscle tone there; it just doesn't show through all that all-natural womanhood, as one other poster put it. The idea that one has to be totally ripped to have muscles is a modern misconception. They'd have to have some pretty well-developed muscles to shake it like that. Look up some belly-dancing videos for proof.

  • man!

    hot chicks!!!!!!!!!

  • look at those grandma panties

  • I remember that resort. It was torn down in the 1980's which was on tropicana in Las Vegas.

  • I'd pay to see then do the jerk!

  • Classic! Back in the day when dancing was cool.

  • Absolutely awesome!

  • Fantastic! Look at the abs on those girls! Free weights. Seriously! Liz Taylor used em too.

  • Please more Stacy Adams!! She is fantastic!!

  • That motel was the Dunes hotel. No longer there. That's my mom (Stacy Adams). My first time off a high dive was at that pool. Memories.

  • that motel probabaly is a abondon crack house by now

  • @TheRisingforce2000 In case you'd like to crawl out from under that rock bubba- The Dunes was one of the most famous places in the Post War world. The first hotel/ casino in Vegas and crawling with movie stars. the Rat Pack, wiseguys, etc. It was Vegas, baby. The Dunes came down in a controlled explosives demolition, what, ten to fifteen years ago? It went to make room for some silly "Vegas for Families" thing.

  • @KatrinaMess I wasnt being serious

  • big rubber-flower bathing caps and still they didn't want to get their hair wet.

  • EPIC

  • I'm seriously coveting the swimsuits & hair do's!!

  • One of the dancers towards the last is Nancy Czar who also appeared in Winter A-Go-Go approx during this same time period! As far as I know, she's still alive and is an animal advocate of some sort.
