Luke Schenn is a guy that maybe if he's still on the team when phaneufs time is done in toronto (whether its retirement, trade, etc) i see him as the next captain. Might not be playing so well but hes only 22, tons of room for potential, and just a great guy. I see him as a life long leaf, keep em burkie!

The trade is probably not going to happen. For one, JVR now has a concussion and players on IR are arely being traded. Secondly, however, the Flyers and Leafs pretty much never trade with each other. Since the lockout, the teams have only traded once. However, that was last year (the Versteeg trade) so perhaps this is no longer a factor. Can't remember the last trade between the two teams before that though (I only count trades involving actual players here. No draft pick swaps).

Schenner for Jamie R? That's tough since Philly doesn't really need to strengthen their defensive core (Their team's GAA I blame on goaltending) and Toronto doesn't really need to strengthen their offense (Grabo, Kessel, Lupul, Bozak, MacArthur, and Connolly are all putting up solid points or goals compared to usual). I don't think either team would benefit a whole lot from this trade but it wouldn't make either team worse.

This was a pretty sad loss. There were many chances where the leafs could have 'AT LEAST' tied it up for a point. I also couldn't help but notice a few mistakes (give aways) by Kadri. I support the fact that he should stay in the line-up since he contributes big and makes some key plays. Just thought the puck was being turned over a bit. Its just about crunch time and I hope the Leafs can continue putting out a competitive game. At least the P.K seems to have improved as well as Gustavsson.

I wasn't surprised they lost though. You play that utterly badly in the first part of the first period and you are doomed. It was like watching a team of Kovalev, utterly brilliant at times and utterly horrible. If they don't have the killer instinct to put Buffalo well out of the playoff run right now...
